Integration   –   Being In Peace With The Self and the World   –   5-29-15

No one can experience inner peace fully while we are still finding fault with the world and others. While the list of things that could be changed, so as to make it a better place, to disagree with and to dislike is endless, we must learn to integrate what we see outside, accepting it as a part of ourselves without judgement.

Humanity is one big family. Everyone is different, but we all complement each other. This is the beauty that we do not seem to perceive. Everyone is different, because each one of us has a different purpose and only by joining forces together we can create a magical reality.

Without embracing the good and the bad in ourselves and others there will never be a peaceful living situation. We don’t have to agree to what is happening, but casting a stone while hiding the hand and separating from all responsibility from the state of the world will never make it better.

Blaming the rest of the world or society for the current state of affairs, as if we weren’t part of it only causes separation. What we are seeking for is unity. One World, one race, one heart, one soul, one feeling. And it is everyone’s responsibility to contribute to reach this goal.

Accepting any reality however unpleasant this might be, is the first step to integration and to embrace what we see in others. Understanding and perceiving this stage is no different from accepting a personal flaw, unwanted feelings or behaviours that concern the self. One could be driven by hate for years acting accordingly, but living in denial of this fact. Denying any reality, whether personal or collective only serves to perpetuate it.

When we accept that this is what we have at the present moment, we raise awareness. Then and only then we can consider promoting change. It doesn’t mean that this is who and what we are, but it is where we are now as a collective. All humans are incredibly beautiful beings of light. Our true nature is love and only love. Everyone is looking for love for this reason, so as to return to our natural state of being, and one in which are born and forget. Everyone. No exceptions. We must help each other to remember what we lost.

One can only be in peace with the self when our actions, thoughts and words stem from love and we offer ourselves and other our best version. We cannot control anything else and it should be our good actions what promote change by example. Opposing to an ugly truth it is also possible from a place of love and peace, reason for which the only way in which we can change the world is by means of a peaceful revolution. Hate, violence, criticism, judging right or wrong never worked so far, and yet, we continue promoting this way to solve all our problems. Violence creates more violence. Hate creates more hate. What we feed not only continues, but grows.

The sad truth is that in such ways we are avoiding responsibility by pointing fingers at others instead of helping each other to grow. Imagine a village in valley being flooded as a result of heavy rain, but as I live at the top of the hill and my house has not been affected, I blame others for not foreseen to what to me is now obvious. Not only this, I laugh at everyone’s lack of wisdom and of course I refuse to contribute with rescue or to help them. I am right and they’re wrong. In this line of thought, the feeling one has is one of false superiority, but it’s also lack of compassion and love and detachment from the soul.

We can witness what we see, dislike it and be at peace with it by transcending the moment and the truth that is presented. In the same way that we look at ourselves and know that deep within there’s an amazing being, but sometimes we do not act it, we can see others in the same light; with love, kindness and compassion. Anyone acting out of anger or hate is trapped in a different state of consciousness. It is possible that they are not aware of it. Everyone has been there or is still in this uncomfortable stage. Judging does not do the job.

Accepting, however has a more powerful effect, as we have recognised the difference in others, perhaps disagree and begin a discussion with the intention to change it in a peaceful way. When we accept the differences in others, we are honouring that person or the collective, as we have established a platform to find a common ground. We are also honouring their souls. Everyone wants to be seen and this is one way to achieve it.

Certain truths are hard to accept, and this is where the challenge is presented.

We can choose to react or respond. No one should take personally the actions of others however hostile they might be. What others do has nothing to do with ourselves, but with them, their level of perception and understanding. Responding to others with the same negative energy only helps to create more negativity.

It is a matter of refusing to continue living in a world or reality bowed to fear in which actions of hate, anger or violence are far too frequent, and choosing to continue living with love and in love. By not reacting we evoke the soul and not the ego to act.

Let’s consider that there are many people around the world who have not been treated with love, kindness or compassion for most of their lives. Unless they are treated with our positive qualities and shown that there is another way, they will never see it. It is not about changing anyone, but inviting others to integrate in a world that is kinder, more compassionate and loving for everyone.

In love we feel safe. It is everyone’s choice to move towards love at their own pace and in their own time. Once love has been offered, everyone will want to join at one point. No one can live without love all their lives. Life without love is not life, but something else.

By transcending the actions of others seeing who they really are, we also transcend a part of ourselves reaching closer to our own soul. What we do to others, we do to ourselves.

This article is not an invitation to accept reality as it is and expect others to do the work. We still have to denounce, oppose and do our best to change what insults the collective soul until we live in a world we all wish for; in peace, in love, in freedom. How we do it determines who we are. Let’s accept diversity and use our fingers to point out where love is.

Manel Blanco – Waking Up The Goddess – Why Women Will Change The World – in5d.com – 11-11-14

Goddess Beauty

by Manel Blanco

For too many centuries and up to the present moment, women have been like footnotes in history books that no one bothered to read. Confined to a secondary role, they have been cast aside to serve the needs of society and men. In the present era circumstances have changed as there seems to be a gradual movement towards equality; but we are not there yet. We are still far from reaching the necessary level which would guarantee the balance beneficial to all in ways the human mind cannot yet conceive.

Men still occupy the majority of senior positions in all public administrations, private business and corporations. Even when a woman holds a professional position equal to a male colleague, the inequality still reflects in lower salaries, for reasons beyond comprehension and which clearly points out at a covert discrimination fuelled by the historical inertia propelled by the archaic beliefs and rules of a patriarchal society that no longer provides for the real needs of humanity.

Waking Up The Goddess: Why Women Will Change The World

These beliefs created by and for the convenience of patriarchal society continue deeply ingrained in the collective psyche and affects everyone. The most blatant representation of this effect is the gratuitous violence against women and the rape culture that is suppressing the wonderful qualities of women generation after generation after generation. It is not the case that more rapes are committed in present time, but that women and an increasing part of society had enough of this systematic and endemic form of oppression. There are more cases reported due to a simple fact; women have a stronger voice and they’re no longer alone. There is a increasing number of men that will no longer stand for it either. I happen to be one of them. The role of the administration in this social plague is shameful and deceitful. No government or administration has established a viable plan which even begins to touch the surface of the problem. Worse than that, there are no signs that they have any intention either. The role of the media does not fall short of shame, as it only serves as a distracting tool broadcasting the tragedies that the same neglectful administrations are causing throughout the world. For as long as men have control of the administration from their Ivory Towers, this problem will continue to be a shame to men and society as a whole. The fact is: the current state of the world is not working neither for men, nor women.

But not everything is doom and gloom. There is hope. One way to change the world is to tackle the problems that we have here and now. Instead of doing this, we are creating more. What we do today can change the world forever. It is our actions what will transform the world into a place in which we can all live together and not against each other.

As a woman there are two factors that you need to consider in order to transform and project your true self to the world, as these are the most significant and have more influence that you would imagine in who you are today. First, there is an obstacle which is going to prove difficult to overcome, but not impossible. The fact is that the treatment that women have received for centuries has left a legacy in energetic terms. Every action that has been taken in the past to coerce freedom is still here. This energy works as an invisible chain which stops you from expanding. It is an energy emerged from limiting actions and it continues to be restrictive today and now.

Unknowingly you are holding prisoner a wild woman within that when found and liberated will show you who you really are. The wild woman is not one that destroys, even though she is a powerful warrior and she would not tolerate such imposed barriers. She is a warrior of love. Love is all that is needed to bring down traditions that go against humanity. There is a wonderful scope to expand in front of you. Remember this and believe in it. This world is going to change and women are going to play and already playing an essential role in this transformation. In case you didn’t know; you are woman, Muse, Thinking Muse and Goddess. Do you still wonder why unconscious men fear you? You are incredibly powerful and when you begin to show your true self to the world with love, fear will subside.

The second factor plays in your favor and it is your greatest ally. Having played a secondary role throughout history has also given you centuries of empowering energy which is raised from love. Love is the most powerful source there is and can heal all. From the beginning, the participation of women in society has been crucial in order to perpetuate the continuance of human life. This is obvious information we all know, although one which significance I believe escapes the awareness of the collective. Giving birth to a child is something no man will ever understand, as it is physically impossible to experience. What we experience we don’t know, and what we don’t know we fear.

A woman is a Goddess of Life, a creator. In essence women are more caring, loving and nurturing. It has been centuries of nurturing not only humanity, but the soul. Women are much more in touch with the soul because from the beginning of existence you have been in touch with your feelings and emotions absorbing the pain and suffering of humanity in silence. And it is through feeling that we heal. Do continue feeling and continue crying. Do not allow anyone, especially men, to make you believe that you are hysterical or mad when you do. You are a woman and you feel in ways most men cannot understand. Feelings and tears are healing. If the whole of humanity began to cry at the same time today so as to feel the collective pain and suffering, the world would heal from all its misery.

There is magic to the invisibility in the actions of women; those actions that are taken for granted and which provide day after day for numerous things which seem to be planted there for the use others. Mothers are the best example. You nurture, love, care, create and provide. We only notice when such things are no longer there. The signs that women are more in touch with the soul are fairly obvious. Women are more spontaneous, ready to sing and dance in public more often than men. You are more vibrant and colorful. It shows in women’s choice of clothing and personal items. Anyone who has been observant in public might have seen this scene. A couple are in a shop looking for items to decorate their new home. The woman sees an object that speaks to her soul and in most cases the man’s response is: this is too expensive or it’s not practical or I can make that. A woman is looking for the soul in all objects, to bring color and rhythm to the house, while a man is still building a fort or a shed in which everything is practical and cost-effective. Balance is the key. This world lacks color, as it lacks soul. And here is where women are crucial, but so are men.

Waking Up The Goddess: Why Women Will Change The World | In5D.com

It is time for women to organize, create groups and cooperatives, foundations and gather in a collective and creative effort. The soul allows for a creativity that has not yet exploded in the world. It is also time for women to begin to support and empower each other in both, common and personal endeavors. This is a process that takes time and patience. What it cannot continue is that women prey on other women because of personal differences due to beliefs. I see multiple examples of this every day. The question ‘To be or not to be’  has now changed to ‘cleavage or no cleavage’, and it is painful to see. If we don’t respect others, we will never have their respect. What we give we receive. Everyone wants to love and be loved. Let’s allow it and let’s do it together. If you on the other hand are more the individualistic type and have a project which you believe you can do alone, do so. There are no rules when it comes to creativity and how we proceed. What matters is that you use your creativity, imagination. Be persistent, be flexible and do not be discouraged. Success takes time and often sacrifices. Begin now. Join a group already established or create one.

So far we have two energies which influence you. The one which can transform the world is the energy that speaks to the soul and from the soul. It is not a matter of fighting the restrictive energy, but to use and expand the creativity of your true expression. By giving more attention to such energy with your actions you will be contributing to its expansion. The equation is simple, as the creative soul occupies more of the spectrum of life it causes the other energy to recede until it disappears. This is a daily task; it is a long journey and even though it is a collective effort, your actions, no matter how small they appear to be are important, as this also contributes to your personal transformation and your way to freedom. No one is going to do the work for you or for me. This is work we have to do ourselves. It is possible. Everything is possible.

I am sitting while I write at Southsea Coffee co. in Portsmouth. There are two ‘waitresses’ dancing, talking to each other as they work. There are two more members of the staff. It is not clear whether they’re working or not. A third one come and sits at one of the tables after greeting everyone. There’s a smile in all of them which goes deeper than their faces. To call them waitresses would be an understatement. We are not job descriptions. To consider the people who regularly come here as customers would be another understatement too. It is a place in which souls gather to enjoy the company of others, as if we all had a prearranged agreement to meet and it is a beautiful synergy to see. In this case the soul of the owners is expressed through a physical establishment, making a strong, uncompromising statement to the world. It is a collective effort. And this is home. Home is not the physical place in which I was born. Home is the true essence of each individual, that part of us which we fear to express openly as we somehow believe someone else will come to harm it. The soul cannot be destroyed and it is always intact. As an individual we can get completely detached from the soul, but the soul is always there. This place is a clear reflection of what we together can do to transform the world. One day at a time.

The effect that this movement will have in the world is extraordinary. Ask for help when you can, and when there is no one to help, ask the universe. It is listening. The shift of energy is already happening. Know that there is a large group of men supporting you even if they don’t express their voices too loudly. Bring them in to participate, not to organize or lead, but to support you. You would be surprised the response of men we asked. If someone is not receptive, let them be. There is no need to explain yourself. Keep doing what you want to do. The energy that you are going to produce is not only transforming you, but everyone around and eventually the world. We are our actions. If you are a man reading this, you may want to read my blog post ‘Balancing Energies: Restoring Male Energy and Raising Female Energy’. You will understand why our help is needed.

I intend to write extensively about this topic as integration and acceptance of each other is essential. First, for both men and women separately, to bring both genders together, as it is together we change things. There is a simple reason why men and society must participate in this process, and this is because both have an incredible opportunity to blossom when we allow the energies and creativity that for so long have been suppressed. I’d like to hear your opinions and any questions you may have on the subject. Regardless of what gender you fall in, before you dismiss this idea, ask yourself whether you like the world as it is or you would like to see it transform. Remember; you can make a difference.

Manel Blanco – What to do when Your Partner is Not on the Spiritual Path – in5d.com – 10-1-14

by Manel Blanco

Whether we know it or not, we all are in a spiritual path. It might not seem so seeing how some people lead their lives, or what their interests, characters and behaviours are like; but everyone wants a better life. Everyone hurts and everyone suffers. The spiritual awakening happens at a different stage for everyone, and all of us are waiting for that miracle. They might not admit it, but the fact is that everyone has a soul, everyone is a soul and in one way or another we all feel it pushing through.

The fact that one lives in denial due to life long exposure to a set of beliefs usually causes others to resist the beliefs of others. When we initiate the spiritual path openly, our attention is focused on these practices. Wanting to evolve in the spiritual journey  is something that should come from within. We can never force anyone to take it. It does not work in any other way.

It is very common that people in relationships are affected by this. The number of women interested in spirituality is far greater than men. I know of many women who suffer due to such imbalance. In order to change attitudes towards spirituality we have to integrate the beliefs of others, not to dismiss them and accept people as they are now. There is always a good reason for people's attitudes and behaviours. Men have not been trained to seek the spiritual; our attention has been directed towards a more material life, so as to be providers, but in a world in which currently most people provide for themselves, this idea is obsolete. Yet, many men are following the spiritual path. Everyone wants to find inner peace and men are not the exception.<br />

Yet, many men are following the spiritual path. Everyone wants to find inner peace and men are not the exception.

The first thing we have to do is to look at ourselves. In ‘How most people sabotage their spiritual growth’ I gave a few reasons as to why spirituality is not taken seriously, neither by those who practice it, not by those who see it from non-practicing position. A partner that challenges our beliefs is still a valid partner. Why are they challenging us? and why did we attract and felt attracted to that person in the first instance? If you are in a relationship, you chose to be with that person.

There is at least one belief and one activity that the non-spiritual follow which can be related to. Pain and suffering is the same for everyone even if expressed differently, and neither can be removed There is at least one belief and one activity that the non-spiritual follow which can be related to. Pain and suffering is the same for everyone even if expressed differently, and neither can be removed without seeking truth within. There are several problems when we disagree on these matters. We need to explain processes, concepts and practices clearly. If we cannot do so, we might not understand it fully. I do remember years ago someone looking at my writing and the only thing they could say was that they "only believed in the universal truth". When I asked them to expand on it, there was a silence that continues until today. Of course, they never were given the opportunity to give a glimpse at my writing again.without seeking truth within. When I asked them to expand on it, there was a silence that continues until today. Of course, they never were given the opportunity to give a glimpse at my writing again.

This is another problem. There are people in the spiritual path using the theory against others, instead of treating them with love, kindness, understanding and compassion. At least once a week I  receive a comment from an occasional reader throwing these theories like knives. I call this the ‘Text Book Syndrome.” And the only intention is to prove others wrong. More to it, the comments are usually off topic and I know they have not even read the blog post. Whilst everyone is entitled to an opinion, using our knowledge to try and harm others has nothing to do with spirituality.

A person could be doing their own research in many different ways. To give an example, I have been a keen reader of classics and contemporary literature, but also in philosophy, economics, politics, art, psychology, plus a long list of disciplines including theory of mathematics, which is not my forte. In the end all that mattered to me was to live the experience, not the theory, as this is what made a difference in my life. Spiritual or self-help books hardy ever got my attention. The interest is in the universal and all answers can be found in any book if read with intention. Find the intention of your partner and together, begin to work with it, not against each other.

Open new channels of communication and find out what your true intentions are. Are you trying to change your partner? Whilst this intention might seem very loving, it is not. Only when someone Open new channels of communication and find out what your true intentions are. Are you trying to change your partner? Whilst this intention might seem very loving, it is not. Only when someone decides to grow spirituality a change will occur. Let's change ourselves first and when we do, others will follow. When we try to change a person against their will, the reaction is defensive and causes them to close down. No one likes to be told what to do or that they are doing it wrong. There is a time in life for everyone in which we do realise our own truth and that we might have to change it, but it is always our choice.decides to grow spirituality a change will occur. There is a time in life for everyone in which we do realise our own truth and that we might have to change it, but it is always our choice.

We cannot force our beliefs and opinions on others. Give space, but also make sure yours is safe and respected. It is possible to be kind and loving and still stand our ground strongly. It is not a battle, but a strong belief in your convictions. Watch for that belief that is being challenged and ask yourself why without reacting to it.

Sit down for thirty minutes with your partner and express your feelings, emotions and ideas and what you would expect from a them. It is essential that we do not to give ultimatums, such as, “you do this with me or else!” It is important to get it out of your system. Ask your partner to listen to you without their comments and opinions. Being spiritual does not make us better than anyone else. No one is above or below, we are just different and we will continue being different regardless of how much complicity we find in others.

This is an exercise to express yourself. A time to be listened to. It is also important that you are not interrupted. Ask your partner to do the same, to express what they feel about themselves, not about your beliefs and practices. And listen, do listen and stay with your feelings and their feelings.

It is not about correcting the beliefs and ideas of others, but about listening to each other with It is not about correcting the beliefs and ideas of others, but about listening to each other with respect, hence the importance of no interference during this process. It is very rare to listen to our partners or to talk to them without interruptions for such length of time. Once again, be flexible and decide in which way you want to do it. Use this opportunity as a constructive tool to improve the situation and create a new reality if possible. When you have gone through the experience, answers and insights will undoubtedly come to you and you will know what to do next. Sometimes relationships have to end, but if there is love, doing anything you can to improve it and take it to a different level of understanding might be worth the effort.

If they love you, they will understand the concepts of love, respect, understanding, kindness and compassion. If they don’t and you are attacked, ask yourself why it is happening, and most importantly, is it worth it?

Manel Blanco – Six Reasons Why Spirituality And Personal Development Might Not Be Working For You.

 *

Spirituality or personal transformation is a path without short cuts. Living in a world which offers immediate gratification in every corner at any time, the tendency of most people is to take a break from it and wait for better times to come. The general belief is that we have to be strong and ready to endure the feelings and emotions that come with it. With this is mind no one is ever ready and yet we all are. I believe there is a great misunderstanding in the process of personal development, how it works and what to do with it. While no one can tell you how to go about it, there are certain truths that even though we all can point out, we choose to ignore. Here there is a list of things you might be avoiding. It is not that you are doing anything wrong, but you might want to take a closer look at your experience, why you might feel stuck and what to do about it in order to change this reality. This is not criticism in any way, but a way to help you understand what might be doing wrong. If at any point during the reading you feel uncomfortable with what you read. Stay with that feeling. A feeling is where you are at the moment and the more you feel it, the stronger you will become.

Getting lost in rituals: While I agree that finding the right environment and a place in which we can practice spirituality comfortably, lighting candles and burning more incense is not going to do the job. We must create the right atmosphere to reach the right mood in order to produce the right energy, but we must also be practical. Perhaps you are making your surroundings too beautiful and not paying enough attention to yourself. Giving too much attention to what’s outside, might be getting you distracted from what is within. Within you will find all answers. A ritual should be an action that helps you to communicate with yourself, not a distraction.

Love and Light: There are many people for whom spirituality is only love and light. It is true that love and light is the purpose and the place where we all want to be permanently. However, by avoiding darkness we neglect to explore the uncomfortable feelings and emotions which hold all the answers in the end. We can only see light in darkness. Darkness is part of who we are. It does not mean we have to act upon it, but feel it. Show your light in darkness. Meet anger with love. Meet depression with love and so on and so on. There is nothing to be afraid of. We have been given a dark side so we can learn to balance it. This is not a celebration of darkness, but a nudge to embrace it. There is so much we can see in darkness.

You believe you are a follower: While it is important to get insights from others in the spiritual process, it is also essential that you expand on any new vision you embrace. Make it personal and flexible, by using your own experience, creativity and imagination you will get the results you are looking for. You are not a follower, but a leader. And I will keep repeating this throughout. You might be following this blog or not; but you are not following me. The knowledge I share is universal. What you read is only helping you to remember. That’s all. When following someone, if they make you believe that you need their direction permanently they are creating an unnecessary dependency on their figure. The reason why you need to begin to think and feel like a leader is because you have to make your own decisions and find your own answers. Others can point out a direction, but in the end it is living the experience that would make a difference. It what others tell does not resonate with you, do not follow. Your intuition is the one true leader. It is time you listen to it if you have not so far. It is as wise as everyone else’s.

You are not doing the work: It is human condition to get very excited when we decide to begin any process of personal transformation. Initially we look for the assistance of others. We might see someone privately, read books or attend courses, seminars or retreats. This is part of the work, but what happens in between meeting and meeting is essential in order to transform. Let’s say that you have attended a retreat. You feel uplifted and hopeful that this feeling is going to be permanent. It is not. The reason you feel uplifted is because you did the work and you have been inspired by others, as well as from your own input and experience. If the retreat has been going on for a week, this means that you have engaged in different practices non-stop for that long. It is consistency what makes a difference. If we stop these practices and return to old habits, we are going to obtain the same old results. What you learn from an experience has to be continued. Don’t wait until you next retreat, do it now.

Buying into new dogmas: Every experience opens every individual to a new truth. We are used to have a need to settle for a new truth too soon, as this is the way we have been taught to function. Somehow we are changing religion for a new spiritual dogma. There was a time in which humanity didn’t question religion, as we don’t question new beliefs. It is important to question everything. If the new dogma is limiting you in any way to express yourself freely in healthy ways, you might want to reconsider and perhaps expand on this new belief. Take the best of the new belief, mix it with what you already know and create your own belief and keep expanding on it. What works for others doesn’t necessarily work for you. Personal transformation is about expansion. This is how you will give expression to your soul. Don’t be defined by terms. Free yourself from everything that is established and just be.

You don’t believe that change is possible: Perhaps your experience has conditioned you to believe that nothing good is going to come to you. This experience most certainly carries the echoes of the voices of a collective consciousness that tells us that better is not possible. Everything is possible and everything can change in just one second. While challenging the beliefs and ideas of others is a very healthy practice, the most important challenge we can face is that of our own beliefs. If you don’t see immediate results, be patient, trust and believe. Be persistent until you see the results you want.

You are not having enough fun: Spirituality is a journey in which we have fun, not suffering. Most religions invite suffering as a way of living. The more we suffer now here, the more rewards we will get in the afterlife. This is a lie which has been very convenient for the church to control the masses in the past, and somehow the energy of this belief is still very strong in modern society. Anything that suggests you have to continue suffering is not a healthy path. Have fun instead, sing, play and dance. Open yourself to the pleasures in life. As long as your practices are healthy and you are taking care of yourself, any practice is spiritual. Running or walking are activities as spiritual as yoga or meditation.

There is another aspect which makes spirituality not work for most people. I will dedicate a new blog post to it next week, as it is very important. I believe that these six points will give you a new perception on how to see spirituality in a new light. For now there is only one more thing to say; the more you put into it, the more results you will get. And above all; do not forget to have fun. Responsibility, fun and humbleness.
