Aarathi Selvan – 4 Simple Ways to Slow Down So You Don’t Rush Through Life – Tiny Buddha .com

“If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.” ~Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Throughout my life, a deep voice within has constantly asked me to slow down.

Don’t get me wrong; I thrive when I have deadlines, when I have to push myself to get somewhere. I love being quick in what I do.

However, over the last ten years of living like a workaholic and then having to find a semblance of quiet after the birth of two adorable babies, I have begun to realize that being quick in what we do is in itself not worrisome; feeling rushed is.

I began experimenting with slowing down after several episodes of sickness that resulted from the stress I accumulated in my rushed life.

The struggle between being in ten places at once and being in just one place at one time was immense.

Even today, I still feel the urge to check my mobile and send out a quick email as I walk my little ones to the park. Yet I cannot stand to miss the little tumble walk of my toddler and my big talking kindergartner as I walk with them.

Slowing down just a little has taught me the power of pausing and gathering perspective.

This is an invitation from my deeper self to yours to slow down, just for a few moments, to pause and breathe. Here are four simple ways to do that.

1. Morning drink.

For most of us, the morning tea or coffee has become somewhat of ritual that we rush through. Just for today, allow the morning drink to wake you gently. Sit with it as if you were participating in loving yourself.

Eventually, allow your morning beverage to help you set an intention for your day, gently and with care.

Set an intention about how you want to feel during the day, and after you finish your morning drink, intentionally rise and take good care of the cup that helped you slow down and gather perspective.

2. Write/journal.

Experiment with writing. When you take a few moments of your day to write, you allow for space to pause and reflect. You slow down the speeding thoughts of what is to be and what should have been to accept what is now.

Write about the sense of feeling rushed in your everyday life and how you struggle to balance. Write then about how you yearn to feel and how that life you yearn for can begin now.

3. Pause to observe.

In this moment, pause and look around you.

On the surface of things there might be chaos—the tooting of horns from the street, your children screaming for you, or your coworkers having an argument. Take a deep breath anyway, look around, and see how there is stillness in the objects around you.

The earth that is bearing us; the furniture, still and sturdy; the air, present and quiet. Observe the nature of stillness around you and allow your thoughts and actions to slow down just a little.

4. Embrace now.

In any given moment there are one or more things around us that we like, be it the color of the blinds or people around us that we love. And yet, we are often overwhelmed by the things that happened to us or the things that didn’t happen.

In this moment, identify three things you like. Once you identify them, allow the realization to sink in and enjoy it for a few seconds before you move on. Hence starts the experience of slowing down to embrace now.

Experimenting with slowing down is an invitation to try out living in the now, because honestly, it is a pain to live in the past and too scary to think about the future.

Now is all we’ve got. And experimenting with these practices helps us be everything we want to be in a more quiet, peaceful, and joyful way—in a more present way, with deep intention.

There is utter beauty in taking refuge in our senses, in opening up to the small miracles that we always rush through. Take a day or more to experiment with slowing down and, as difficult as it may be, you’ll find it expands the time that we often think we lack.

Lisa Gawlas – Which Garden of Life Are You Growing? – Focused On Within? – 12-15-14

lisagawlas2Man oh man, ya ever just want to take the field and shake the living daylights out of it while yelling “gimmie something I can I understand.”  Well, that was how it went 4 out of 5 readings yesterday.  Of course, me and my silly expectations.  We are back into quantum soup for a moment.  At least I wasn’t completely down, I could see the field and some sort of energy called you, it oddly resembled the color spectrum of the rising sun I took yesterday:

rising sun

Now get rid of all the trees and things are not the sky… in one form or another, that is what 4 out of 5 readings looked like.  It is hard enough to interpret imagery with form, but now, cloud like formations!!!???  But clouds that had matter to them, more like cotton balls, I could feel the texture, feel the energy but understand it… no flipping way.  At least our teams threw us a bone, a bare bone, but hey at this point, I’ll take anything that helps us understand.

So I will give you the metaphors that were shared thru the cloud like energy system called you and the field yesterday.

The day I wrote (and quoted Ken Carey’s book) about the great separation, the wheat from the chaff, I had to go look that up.  I have heard that saying most of my life, and get it symbolically… but what did it really mean.  I am glad I did that, because thru just about every session yesterday, they used that to help us understand what has happened and is underway.

If we could look at the eye of the needle as a huller and we the seed that went thru it.  As we went thru it, the hard outer shell was stripped from us and what came out the other side was the raw, living DNA of Life.  Ya feeling a little emotional these days to both extremes perhaps??  Headaches, colds, intense body aches… perfect!!

What was completely missing from any of the connections yesterday was that whole needle thing, which was so clear the day prior.  Again, me and my crazy expectations… or maybe, my desire to orient myself in relationship to what I know.  Boy if this all doesn’t get more complicated… from what I am understanding, everyone has come thru the arena of change, based souly on their frequency base over the last 2 years.  Many will find themselves amongst the hulls, lifeless thru the illusion of yesterday, to choose again… others, sprouting in ways that would make miracle grow blush.

To make my day even more frustrating than it already was trying to read cloud like formations… our teams were pulling words out of my mouth left and right, to the point I felt like they placed a clamp on my tongue and all I could do was mumble and throw my hands up in the air and repeat I don’t freakin know over and over all day long.  But at least I got a reason for it.

Every word we speak, we speak based on something we know, a relationship to each word in our history.  Even our often used words are completely inadequate in explaining what is happening right now.  Words like, transformation, acceleration and so on… especially the word change and growth.

So, going back to the hulled seed, pure DNA energy… the cloud like energy I was seeing is the soil of life itself, the formations, tho not in any real form, is your DNA within this cloud energy.  Of course I wanted to use the words growing, planted, going everywhere I knew in relationship to seeds, wasn’t happening.  Instead, they showed us how utterly complete we are already.

The moment a flower seed (or bulb) sprouts from its casing, it is already what it was created to be.  Just because we only see the seedling above the ground does not mean it is not already fully what it is.  I found a wonderful video to share in the way spirit shared with me yesterday:

You and I, we see only the sprouting and the growth stages until it is in full bloom then we can say we know what it is, it is fully what it was created to be.  However, from spirits perspective, the moment it sprouts, it is already fully what it is created to be.  So are you.  My antennas, like our eyes watching the growth of the plants, are purposely placed in “time” for the joy of witnessing the fullness in all its amazing stages and our teams wouldn’t dare take those wonders from us.  (dammit)Now to change the subject just a little… we will be seeing two very distinct gardens growing, both with purpose and value in placement.  One garden will contain so many (perceived) weeds that many will simply get choked out of the garden.  The weeds in this scenario simply matches frequency, out put, true core energy.  Some DNA still has old programming and this garden is purposeful to bring all the old programming to life, into full view.  With this metaphor, I feel like we will also witness a lot of “illness” thru this time.  Crazy, I can hear a snippet from the Ken Careys thingie I shared the other day “The great purification.”  Not from life but of oneSelf.  We tend to blame anything called illness on outside factors, food, air, chemtrails, whatever, its none of that… its emotions, period.  Frequency of the core energy, period.  The lower the frequency within, then the easier distortion distorts everything, including what we perceive as health and wellness.  Since I am on a Ken Carey kick at this moment, I will also share the rest of that section of his book Vision:

Conflict cannot exist where Truth is in expression; it occurs only in the presence of dishonesty. Where truth is denied, self-destruct mechanisms go into effect. People get sick because they are sick of themselves; they die because they do not forgive.

Disease is not caused by germs, toxins, viruses, excessive radioactivity, microbes, bacteria or any other physical agent. Such things are ever-present; thousands of them pass daily through every healthy human body. Such agents are only destructive when they do not pass through the human body but are retained instead.

There is only one reason why germs or toxins are retained in a human system: because present in the human system is an evil spirit.  To the degree that an evil spirit is entertained and made welcome in an individual’s life, his or her body will disease. This regulatory mechanism, designed to deprive destructive spirits of physical bodies.

Evil Spirits are negative attitudes, destructive emotions rooted in fear. Some of the more common evil spirits are resentment, anger, shame, guilt, anxiety, hatred, greed, revenge, jealousy. All thinly disguised forms of fear, their presence in a human system gives harmful physical agents something to attach themselves to. …

So, if you are finding yourself with weeds around you that are directly affecting you, look inside yourself to see what is growing that within your life field.  (I would like to change out Kens words of “evil spirits” to “weeds,” since we are in garden mode lol.)

So lets talk about the other garden.. the Garden of Eden!!  Ha… and I hear spirit say “The Great Payoff!!”

I think I am going to use my last reading of the day to really bring this one home, and maybe, that is why she was the only one I had any visuals for thru the entire day… so bring this all home in outcome.

A full thirty minutes before our connection, I started seeing her imagery.  I was surprised simply because of the 4 fields of quantum soup prior to her, but I feel spirit wanted to give her a high-five and give me the contrast of a weed garden and the Eden garden.

The landscape I had seen her upon was breathtaking, the grass greener than I ever seen before, the living energy surrounding her from all life, holy cow batman!!  There she was with her new wonderful boyfriend, waltzing so freely around the landscape, she had on this long flowing gown that just enhanced their waltz.. never taking their eyes off of each other.  To the right of her expansive field was a waterfall that went down into raging rapids.  I watched as they danced and danced and got close to the edge, but never fell over.

It wasn’t until we got into our connection, and even more this morning, do I understand the fullness of the waterfall image.  Water is always representing emotions, the waterfall itself, is a free fall of emotions into yet another form of life (in this case, the rapids.)  Her team kept saying it is ok to dive purposely over the waterfall, but don’t fall in, you will have no control over the outcome.

I had to look first and see where on earth was this water coming from??  She was on the most pristine, manicured earth I had ever seen, dancing a beautiful waltz with her beloved.  Then I could see the water beneath the grass… always flowing… somewhere.  It serves the purpose to heighten our emotional field, allows us to move with grace and fluidity… but not unconsciously.

The waterfall itself is representing the acceleration of emotions within us, coming together to create another place we can choose to dive into… like the rapids, an acceleration on all levels.  I suppose even in Eden, like the old story goes, there is duality too.  To consciously take a leap of faith is very different than falling into the abyss of quickly moving water.

Now I want to share something about this beautiful dancing girl… I have been reading for her mama for years.  She is young, either in her last year of high school or just out, I forget, but young (in contrast to my age anywayz lol) none the less.  Her mama, a beautiful flower growing in a garden of choke weeds.  This beautiful and brave soul made the choice to remove herself from her parents house, to get a much-needed pause for the cause… and recover.  Her health was diminishing as was her ability to stay within the light of her Soul.  Her parents agreed, she moved out and life changed.  Her garden changed, obviously.  Love grew and now dances out loud in the Garden of Eden of her Soul.

Choices produce ongoing outcomes.

Ohhhhhhhh…… something I didn’t realize yesterday with my enthralled energy watching this beautiful couple dance.  That waterfall is also denoting the end of this year energy.  I would have been really confused had the waterfall been upside down and flowing into the 2015 timeline cuz it is above this ground.  But now… I get it.  I know next year is going to be like riding the white water rapids in frequency.  Going in with your eyes wide open, intentionally diving is crucial.  Many will fall off the cliff (so to speak) as we close out this year.

Our job as rescuers is over, for now.  We were never here to “save” anyone and this is more true now than ever.  Just like the lighthouse, it beams its light to help those on a choppy sea navigate better, but it does not leap off the shoreline to do it for them… it cannot.

“Best to serve the many than be destroyed by serving just one.” (Speaking in metaphor of the lighthouse.  Ponder that one!!)

One more flip of the subject matter.  The 15th, the Ides of December, that is when this quantum soup energy will be completed (for lack of a better word) and spirit said yesterday… and god knows I am holding them to this lol… this is the last time in this current incarnation we will go thru the full on change like we just did.  (The whole, eye of the needle, seed hulling thing.)

Ohhh lol, this is the sharing that never ends lol.  My team just said that this cloud energy, quantum soup visuals of yesterday are highly charged electrical particles of creation, forming and reforming at your Will, at the core energy level of Will.

Which frequency are you tuned too… heart and soul, or mind and matter??

Big big ((((HUGZ))))) of skilled diver energy to all of US!!!

Steve Beckow – Life is a Game – And It’s Rigged! – 8-6-14

CrierLife is a game – and it’s rigged!

It is. It actually is. (Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone. Wink, wink! Nudge, nudge!)

How is it rigged? The answer lies in what Shankara called “the longing for liberation.”

“[The] longing for liberation is the will to be free from the fetters forged by ignorance — beginning with the ego-sense and so on, down to the physical body itself — through the realization of one’s true nature.” (1)

The purpose of life is for you and I to know who we are, what our true nature is, who we are fundamentally. The game that was created long ago was that God asked us to discover who we are.

You know the answer (God).

Why did God set up the game – or lila (divine play)?? Because when one of us knows our true nature in a moment of enlightenment, God meets God. For that reason did He/She/It create life.

But knowing the answer intellectually doesn’t help.

We have to know it – no, not down to our bones. Much, much deeper than that. We have to know it even deeper than transcendentally because the angels are transcendental and they’re still plumbing the depths of that knowing.

To assist us to stay on track, God implanted in us a deep, subtidal, infinite thirst for Him/Her/It, however you think of the genderless, eternal God. That’s the rigging in the game.

Pseudo-Dionyisus describes it here:

“All things long for [God]. The intelligent and rational long for it by way of the stirrings of being alive and in whatever fashion befits their condition.” (2)

“Intelligent beings … experience desire, but this has to be interpreted as a divine yearning for that immaterial reality which is beyond all reason and all intelligence. It is a strong and sure desire for the clear and impassible contemplation of the transcendent. It is a hunger for an unending, conceptual, and true communion with the spotless and sublime light, of clear and splendid beauty.

“Intemperance then will be an unfailing and unturning power, seen in the pure and unchanging yearning for divine beauty and in the total commitment to the real object of all desire.” (3)

That thirst is always playing on us and leaves us ultimately unsatisfied by any material good, event, pleasure, etc.  We feel a yawning chasm within ourselves and try to fill it with food, drink, possessions, wealth, sex, etc., but nothing does the trick for more than a short while.

We embark on a cycle of desire, fulfilling one want after another, then watching our sense of satisfaction fade away and desiring something else, always trying to fill the yawning gap.

That eternal desire can only be satisfied by one thing: God.

All that desire is in actuality is the longing for God, longing for love, or longing for liberation.

But there are secrets about life that make it’s being rigged acceptable. One is that you and I are the riggers. You and I are God and, since it’s God who rigged the game, that means we rigged it. (We’re actually both rigger and riggee.)

Most of our channeled sources refer to that longing on one occasion or another.

Let’s listen to some of the various ways it’s described. Let’s start with the chief architect, God Itself in the form of the Divine Mother, she who moves upon the waters and calls forth the firmament:

“[The longing] is part, not only of what we would call your spiritual DNA. It is also part of your physical DNA, this desire for love and nurturing to both give and to receive. It is part of your being to be able to be strong enough to carry others, not merely in the womb but to literally carry others.” (4)

Here Saul describes it as a sense of hope and an inextinguishable light placed in us by the Father.

“That sense of hope has been with you since the moment of separation, because your Father placed within you the inextinguishable Light of His Love to assure you that you were not lost, could never be lost, and to light your way Home to His loving embrace when you chose to stop playing the ridiculous games that filled you with anxiety and hid the Light of His Love from you.” (5)

Quan Yin says that all passions can be analyzed and found to be a subset of this longing.

“If you were to analyse every passionate desire that you have you would realise that the purest intention of this passion is to enhance your connection with the Creator. For example, you may desire to live in a beautiful home surrounded by abundance and splendour, could this not be a desire to be surrounded by the beauty and love of the Creator, to feel the security and protection that the love of the Creator offers?

“It is important to realise that sometimes our physical desires are actually describing many desires and needs that we have spiritually.” (6)

This longing, this inextinguishable flame, was placed within us by God when we “separated” from Him, SaLuSa of Sirius tells us.

“When you apparently split from God, He could foresee the pain and suffering that you would experience, and He installed within you an inextinguishable flame to light your way Home when you finally recognized and admitted to the intolerability of your situation.

“This flame within each of you, which you refused to see or acknowledge for so many eons and instead attempted to hide or destroy, is once more apparent to you.” (7)

Elsewhere SaLuSa called it “an innate urge to continue progressing with your spiritual evolution.” (8) On another occasion he explained that “the Creator draws all back into its Being, only to again commence further great cycles of experience.” (9)

“The energy of evolution has to have a goal as otherwise your efforts would be aimless and non-productive. Fortunately that inner drive towards something many know not is now becoming clear.” (10)

SaLuSa’s colleague Diane of Sirius referred to it as “a natural urge to seek what is known within your sub-consciousness.” (11) Ker-on of Venus called it “a compulsive drive towards obtaining knowledge about everything within the great Cosmos.” (12) There are so many different ways the masters describe it.

(Continued in Part 2. Shhhh! Shhhh!)

secrets(Continued from Part 1.)

Jesus spills the beans here in a recent channeling by Linda Dillon:

“In this planet, in the universe, throughout the creation of the Mother/Father One, what people call instinct or drive is truly, there is only one drive, oh there is a drive to maintain human life, to eat, to sleep, but that is not what I am talking about.

“The drive is to love, the yearning is to experience love, to give love, to receive love, and to know not only that you are loved and lovable, but that you are the essence of love. And you are at a point my sweet family where that knowing is upon you.

“And one of the things that is occurring in that growth, in that expansion, in that becoming, in the Shift, in Ascension, it matters not what you call it, is that the yearning for love and the love of your sacred self has become persistent, consistent, undeniable. It has become a driving force and to this I say, ‘Halleluiah.’” (1)

On another occasion, Jesus reminded us that many lightworkers have “remembered that you had always had an indescribable yearning.”  (2)

Here is Archangel Michael in 2013 sharing the secret:

“You have one drive that is embedded within you, within your core, and that is to be loved, to love, and to be the essence of love. And in that drive is, ‘I will do anything to keep me on my journey back home, because what I am really afraid of is the separation.’” (3)

Here he is describing it as a divine discontent:

“The Soul entity is … ready to begin the process of ‘reunification and integration’ for the current cosmic round of Creation. The Soul Self is gradually infused with a Divine discontent which slowly filters into the consciousness of the human mind.

“Hopefully, that is when the human entity begins to turn inward, to tame the ego personality and reconnect with the Soul, the resident OverSoul/Higher Self, as well as with the multiple facets of Its greater Self.” (4)

Notice his contention that, when the divine discontent arises, the individual makes the basic spiritual movement of turning from the exterior to the interior, turning from the world to God. He continues:

“At some point in every person’s Soul journey throughout time and space, there is a yearning to return to the higher realms – a Divine discontent sets in that cannot be denied.

“First you must become aware of the voice of your conscience. The whispers of your Soul will grow louder and more distinctive as you begin to pay attention to the call of Spirit. A sensitivity grows within your feeling nature as you become attuned to higher vibrational patterns of people, places, thoughts and actions. Eventually you will learn to distinguish the Soul Song vibrations of your Soul family, and of the different Masters and Angelic Beings.” (5)

He’s describing stages in our response to the longing for liberation, stages like listening to our own small, inner voice and then to the higher beings for direction and comfort.

SaLuSa let it slip in 2012 that “regardless of whether you have it now or not, you have an inner drive that is always urging you onwards. The dark powers would prefer that you do not become aware of it, and go to great pains to keep you in the dark. However, many are coming into the Light.” (6)

Not everyone awakens to the yearning at the same time, he says.

“Some souls will carry on drifting around and be quite content to watch the world go by. Their pace of progress is clearly a lot slower than most other peoples, but that has no bearing on their ability to eventually experience upliftment.

“The fact is that all souls have DNA genes that give them the impetus to seek the truth, and that will inevitably cause them to continue searching for it. The urge usually comes with wondering about the purpose of life, and this carries them forward on a long journey of adventure.” (7)

Saul described it in 2009 as “the will to move in that direction [of spiritual growth or development] has always been anchored deep within you. It was placed there by God when you chose to make and experience your illusory, separated reality of pain, suffering, and fear, so that you could never be truly lost.”  (8) Elsewhere he said:

“Buried deep within each human is a knowing that that is the destination toward which they are traveling. For ages, it has appeared to be a state of being that is to all intents unattainable. And yet a desire, a deep longing to return there remains, providing the unquenchable hope that drives the search to find that heavenly state.” (9)

And again in 2011.

“Your search for meaning in your human lives is a search for that divine state, which, within the illusion, is inaccessible to you. You are, as humans, so shut down and limited that even the concept of God’s Love entirely escapes you, leaving you with an anxious and inexpressible longing that can drive you to despair, because you appear to be such tiny and insignificant beings of very little worth in the overall scheme of things. …

“In your intense desire to find meaning in your lives you are turning to the Light within you, which beckons continually, and you are seeking its guidance to lead you Home. You have spent eons ignoring It or hiding from It, but It has waited patiently in the knowledge that eventually you would turn to It and allow It to lead you out of the nightmare and Home to God.

“It is but an awakening from an intense and frightening nightmare into the divine Reality where, at every moment, you enjoy your eternal existence. The nudges that you are receiving to awaken you can no longer be ignored; the end of your long slumber is inevitable, and the joy when you awaken will be wondrous.” (10)

I could go on and on citing passages, but you get the point: Life is a game – and it’s rigged! The longing for liberation never, never dies within us.

It operates on us at a subterranean level, the deepest impulse we have, the impulse to know the God that we are and possess it in a supernatural way, as Jan Ruusbroec would say. (11)

So the game is fixed. But don’t tell anyone.

We cannot escape our eventual “reunion” with God. We may as well throw up our hands in despair. Not one being can successfully evade eventual bliss.

So much for rugged individualism, pulling ourselves up by our own bootstraps, and looking out for number one. Our return passage has been booked and we’re bound for glory, whether we like it or not.

15 Things To Start Doing For Yourself – Peoples Trust Toronto – 7-16-14

Not long ago we published an article called 15 Things To Stop Doing To Yourself. The article was all about outlining the tendencies many of us have that can make life more complicated and difficult. Things we do to ourselves that we have full control over. That article inspired this new one that will focus on things we can begin doing right now that will make our lives more joyous and peace filled.

Start Spending Time With The “Right” People – Spend time with people you enjoy -who bring you up instead of push you down. Sure there are always lessons we can learn from others but you don’t need to continue hanging around with and associating with people who you know bring in an offsetting vibe. Learn what you need to from them about yourself and move on. I have found that the longer I let things linger with people simply because I feel I’m supposed to never let them bother me, the worse a situation gets as I’m not taking care of myself. You can’t change others, so focus on you and spend time with those who resonate with you the most.
Start Loving & Being Nicer To Yourself – Think about how you speak to yourself sometimes – how does it sound? What do you say? Unless you are already great at self talk and have a solid connection to the love that you are, it’s likely you say some nasty things to yourself. Whether it be about your appearance, performance on something or your ability to do something you want to do, it’s easy for us to tear ourselves down. Now imagine someone else was saying all those things to you instead. Would it be nice of that person? Of course not. So why do we choose to not be nice to ourselves? Learning to love ourselves and cut out the nasty talk is so important. Be sure to be aware of what you are saying to yourself.

Start Being Fully Honest With Yourself  – Being fully honest with yourself is so important as we can get caught up in convincing ourselves that various things don’t bother us or aren’t a challenge for us. We even be guilty to avoid admitting certain characteristics about the current version of ourselves. Honesty is needed in every aspect of our lives whether it’s with other people, ourselves, our work and so on. The more honest we are, the more we can grow from our experiences and keep things simple. You learn a lot about yourself when you are honest.

Start Facing Your Challenges Head On – We always want our problems or challenges to just go away. But most of the time it isn’t quite that simple. We need to take some sort of action steps. Choose to do something about the challenges you face as opposed to letting them linger and simply complaining about them. We have the choice and control, it’s time to embrace that power. If it helps, choose one problem or challenge you face right now, and write out some things you can do to get it moving forward.

Start Listening To Your Own Inner Voice – Whether you want to call it your inner voice, your heart, gut feelings, intuition, soul, higher self, higher perspective or any other name you give to the real YOU that is beyond your mind, listening to that voice a little more often makes a big difference in your life. It’s YOU! It’s there to guide you, show you your passions and what paths make the most sense for you at any given moment. The more you listen to it means the less you listen to the mind which can often over analyze or bring emotional patterns into your decisions. Listening to your inner voice is following your heart.

Start Living In The NOW – This was one of the most powerful things for me to implement in my life. I’m not saying I’m always in the now as certainly I get stuck thinking about the past or future in ways that cause suffering, but using this tool as much as possible is huge. Everything you have or are is all happening right now and you only have the now. Even in a future moment it is still the now. When you pay attention to what is happening now you give your whole self to what you are doing and that brings much peace and joy. The past or future can be used as a reference to make adjustments in the now, but avoid fretting or worrying about either. The dwelling will only cause suffering. There is much beauty happening now that you won’t want to miss.

Start Valuing What Your “Mistakes” Teach You – I don’t believe there are mistakes in life. Simply, we make choices and they play out experiences. Deep down we have an understanding of what is right and wrong and we live by that. When it comes to smaller choices where we make decisions and they end up in less favorable outcomes, there is a lot to learn from them. Taking risks sometimes results in a stumble or a fall, but this will teach you so much about yourself and the journey you make through each experience. We focus so much on the end goal and how it came to be defined rather than all we learned along the way. There are no mistakes. Value what you learn from every journey.

Start Being Yourself Completely – You are an awesome unique individual, no matter what anyone says. Embracing that is often so difficult because we have social pressures as well as ideas of ourselves (often based on social pressures) that get in the way of us being real. Deep down we all know who we are, what we love and how we want to be, it’s just a matter of getting used to being that when we have gotten used to putting something else “on” for so long. It can be scary for sure, we are putting ourselves out there and if people don’t accept us it can hurt. But the truth is, you will be amazed at how much people love you and are appreciative of what you resonate when you are truly being yourself. People can feel when others aren’t embracing their true selves and this is what usually creates interesting experiences.

Start Enjoying & Appreciating What You Already Have – Sometimes we get caught up in chasing things like money and other material possessions. While these things are not bad to experience or have, it’s important not to get stuck in the idea that “I will be happy once I get these things.” Too often we are waiting around for the “best” situation to play out for us, all the while missing out on the experiences that are right in front of us. Where we have food, shelter, friends, family and life. We also can get caught up in comparing ourselves to others and what they have. Before you go to bed, mid day or even when you wake up, remember all that you have and this will help to keep you out of the chase for more. After all, when you finally get the things you desire, won’t the mind just look for more if we let it?

Start Being Accountable & Creating Your Own Joy – When we look outside ourselves to create joy or peace in our lives we basically give up our own power in doing so. The truth is, you already have all it takes to feel great in your life and sometimes it’s about taking the action to make that the case. In our culture most of the time we assume that happiness will come from others and from things and when we get everything in line we will be OK -Let’s break this habit and start by finding the power inside each of us to begin creating joy now.

Start Helping People Around You – Regardless of what society may suggest is the case, we are all in this together and connected to one another. Caring about people and assisting them in their own journey, in whatever form that comes in, is a great way to connect with others and use your unique skills. On top of that you create a sharing relationship with those people so that exchanges can continue down the road. You aren’t doing it to get something in return, but rather to extend love outwards only to see it come back in whatever form it does.

Start Accepting Things Even If They Aren’t Perfect – Really, what is perfect? Sometimes we have a tough time accepting things when they aren’t perfect, but perfection is simply an idea your mind created. We can get caught up in things in our world not appearing exactly as we wish to see them, but much of it is us learning to be at peace with how things unfold. We can only take actions on things we have control over. This isn’t to say you need to settle for everything, but rather, don’t obsess over the small details and instead be at peace with where things are at in this moment.

Start Paying Attention to How You Feel About Things – Often times we might feel a particular way about something but we don’t take it seriously or voice it because we don’t understand it or don’t want to share it with others. How you feel deep down about something is important and we should certainly value that. Social pressures don’t outweigh how you feel inside about something so feel free to understand that feeling and own it versus burying it. Often we can hide these feelings inside only to later realize many others felt the same about something but didn’t say anything because they were all afraid as well. Your voice and heart can impact others. Don’t be afraid to speak.

Start Focusing On The Possibilities Of Things vs Them Not Working Out – Have you ever heard the idea that if you believe it, it will happen? Now of course this isn’t quite the full story, but believing in possibility has a big impact on not only your own effort and motivation around something but also how others will perceive it. If you want to do something in your life, believe you can do it and avoid thinking negatively about the outcome. “This would never happen to me.” Or “Good things never happen to me.” This type of self talk and lack of believing in self can quickly kill what you are trying to achieve in life. Focus on what you want to happen and how you want to go about it. Focusing on the “negative” won’t do much but make the whole situation feel “negative.

Hilarion – via Marlene Swetlishoff – New Ways Of Living – April 27 – May 4, 2014

April 27-May 4, 2014

Beloved Ones,

The people of the Earth are all in the process of transformation on every level. Human life as they have known it is changing and from those changes comes ways of living that will be far better for everyone. It is not an easy time during this process and so there is a need for faith in the vision of a better world for all. Certainly the outer world does not reflect the higher vision during these times as it goes through the changes but it is already a template on the higher planes of life. This is where all changes begin and then work their way into the physical. Humanity as a whole has chosen the changes that are occurring and some changes happen suddenly and others will take a longer period of time. Patience is needed for those of you who have been doing the work for many years.

For those who are in the process of interfacing with their higher aspects, the task is to become their higher aspects. All that is not of the highest expression within each individual is now making its way to the surface to be acknowledged, learned from, blessed and released. As one is freed of long hidden aspects of oneself that lived in one’s very cells, it is important to practice forgiveness of self and all others with whom you have had interactions in the totality of your life during this lifetime and any others whose memory may surface during this process. After sincere forgiveness comes a replenishment of more light into one’s cells, and to maintain this light one then becomes a person who constantly blesses all people and all situations that may arise. It is in this practice that greater connection with one’s higher aspects takes place.

On the road to mastery, one learns to practice being the Creators ambassadors in every thought, action and deed. One becomes unconditionally loving of all life around them. There is no longer any room for the secret thoughts and judgements within each person’s mind as they interact with others. One must become an open book, honest and transparent in all interactions with others. This is, during these times, a difficult challenge for each one of you who are on the path so it requires wisdom and discernment in your dealings with others. Release all that you can and let discernment be your guide during times that bring tests. Let love and blessing be your constant refrain within your thought processes. This is how we who ascended became free of the lower influences that surrounded us.

We also lived our daily lives away from others so that we could become the masters of ourselves. Those who are reading this do not have this option. Most of you have already gained this mastery in other places and lifetimes so you have the capacity within you to walk the ways of this world and not be of it, however, it requires constant vigilance and discipline. Do not give up on this process because those around you choose to act in ways that are not expressions of the divine. Bless, bless, bless everything and everyone around you in your thoughts. This is your work in the now moments and you can do it, you have the capacity to do this.

Continue to find time to do nice things for yourselves, listen to uplifting music, treat yourself to a lovely dessert from time to time, take long walks in nature, celebrate every little victory you have made as you take the next steps on your journey. There is much beauty around you and by tuning into this beauty and feeling the sublime joy, appreciation and gratitude within your hearts and minds for these moments, you help to anchor those feelings on your planet. Such is the nature of your work , wonderful, isn’t it?

Until next week…

I AM Hilarion

Spiritual bypassing (or whitewashing) is the act of using spiritual beliefs to avoid facing or healing one’s painful feelings, unresolved wounds and unmet needs. It is a state of avoidance. Because it is a state of avoidance, it is a state of resistance. I personally, consider Spiritual bypassing to be the shadow side of spirituality.
The spiritual beliefs of any spiritual tradition, be it Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, New Age, Islamic, or even Self Help, can provide ample justification for living in a state of inauthenticity. They can all provide justification for avoiding the unwanted aspects of one’s own feelings and state of being in favor of what is considered to be “a more enlightened state”. In this episode, Teal Swan gives examples of spiritual bypassing and suggests ways that we can avoid doing it.

Judith Dagley – The Cardinal Grand Crossroads into LIVING Your Dreams… is NOW!

Judith Dagley

The Cardinal Grand Cross! Its been building for decades, and in the wee hours of the morning 4/22, it will all fall exquisitely into place.

With Pluto in Capricorn at thirteen degrees, Mars in Libra at 13 degrees, Jupiter in Cancer at thirteen degrees, and Uranus in Aries at thirteen degrees, one could perceive this as four powerful planets coming together in a chaotic “war of the titans.”

OR… one can perceive this momentous event as a “balancing of the opposites,” and USE it to align oneself into integrity once again…WHOLENESS, in other words.

If one chooses the latter, this is the energy that timeline jumps and quantum leaps are made of… the energy that DREAMS are made of. So DO use it, and very CONSCIOUSLY!

Remember that whatever you focus on this week, you are manifesting into form. Within 3 months, you will begin to LIVE IN what you are creating NOW. So focus on your dreams and nothing else!

LIVE in the frequencies of your dreams, and you will, quite literally, be making them them come true.

Ann Kreilkamp – In Italy, Slow City goes Global – Living a Tranquil Life2-10-14

Orvieto — Even as city living booms around the world, the Slow City movement directed by an intrepid Italian is gaining a global following with a back to basics campaign to make small towns the new place to be.

From his hometown of Orvieto — a hilltop medieval gem surrounded by castles and vineyards in central Umbria — Pier Giorgio Oliveti has helped expand Cittaslow to 28 countries including South Korea, Turkey and the United States.

“Cittaslow is about appreciating what we are and what we have, without being self-destructive and depleting values, money and resources,” Oliveti told AFP.

“It is an antidote against negative globalisation,” the bushy-bearded former journalist said.

Founded in 1999 by a Tuscan mayor eager to extend the healthy living philosophy of Italy’s Slow Food movement to urban life, Cittaslow currently boasts 183 members, with another dozen applications for membership pending.

The movement’s symbol — derived from that of the Slow Food movement — embodies their philosophy: a snail carrying a town built on its shell.

Would-be candidates must have fewer than 50,000 inhabitants and city halls have to respect strict criteria like promoting organic and urban farming and introducing food appreciation classes in schools.

Orvieto, one of the first towns to sign up 15 years ago, has become the movement’s international headquarters and its showcase town.

Small family-run trattorias dish out locally-sourced wine and delicacies — another requirement for Cittaslow towns — and farmers hawk their wares at the market, which also serves as the community’s lively social hub.

The town hosts a family-friendly jazz festival and locals such as fireman Luciano Sabottini pride themselves on offering such a relaxing atmosphere to tourists that “those who come from Rome or Milan leave again mellowed out.”

Pollution levels are low: visitors park in large underground carparks, masked from sight behind earthy walls which blend into the rockface, and take escalators installed in old aqueduct tunnels up to the pedestrianised centre.

‘Neither difficult nor odd’

Schoolchildren are walked to school every day in groups by parent volunteers in an initiative dubbed “PiediBus” (FootBus) in a procession through town streets.

Mayor Antonio Concina says running a Slow City is “neither difficult nor odd”.

“It’s not a matter of stopping progress to allow a town to respect the slow rules. They can go hand in hand.”

But Cittaslow’s message of environmentally-friendly, human-sized policies to improve urban life is being challenged by an economic crisis in Italy that has pushed unemployment to record-high levels.

Orvieto has not been spared: according to a report by town assembly members, “entire sectors have closed”, with 153 businesses shutting shop in the past four years and unemployment at 35.4 percent — far higher than the national average.

“We’re are fighting to keep our heads above water. Orvieto was once full of carpenter workshops, there was one on every street. I think we’re the only ones left,” said Gaia Ricetti, whose family has worked wood for seven generations.

The large, 18th-century Michelangeli workshop hidden down a cobbled street in the centre of Orvieto is abuzz with electronic saws — the sound of industry Concina says he would be keen to hear more of, slow city or not.

“Not having large-scale industries does hamper economic development,” and multinationals like coffee chain Starbucks “would mean work, a living economy”, although Concina said he would definitely prefer not to have any Starbucks around.

Oliveti believes the Cittaslow philosophy can be used to the same end, by “privileging a community’s qualities, such as craftmanship, technology or tourism, and using them as a key to overcome the economic crisis.”

Orvieto prides itself on its remaining traditional artisans, printers and potters, working in old laboratories dotted around the town centre.

“We have clients from Italy and abroad, but no plans to move away to expand the business. It’s not about money, it’s about living a tranquil life,” said ceramics maker Walter Ambrosini, as he put freshly-crafted cups into a kiln.

Despite the crisis, Ricetti agrees: “We would not be able to produce the same quality of product without the slow component. We weather our wood for five years before working it and Orvieto gives us the time and space to do so.”

While the movement is currently limited to small towns, Oliveti said he hopes to persuade larger cities from Barcelona to Seoul to adopt some of the movement’s ideas and generate “islands of Cittaslow culture” in the bustle.

The Golden Age Daily – You don’t have To spend big bucks to enjoy some Me-Time

From  The Golden Age Daily

Mind Body Green

We all know the importance of taking some time out, and we all know the importance of self care yet somehow we’ve forgotten how simple it can be to do it on a regular basis.

You only have to flick through a travel magazine to see countless ads for retreats, spas and adventures to far flung shores to find peace. Don’t get me wrong, these things are awesome, but they’ve added to the myth that you have to go far or spend big bucks to enjoy some “me-time.”

Somehow we think that working like a crazy person and saving all our hard-earned cash to go on a zen retreat in India is the only way to really reconnect with ourselves.

Not true.

In fact, with just a little planning, you can create the perfect self love staycation, a retreat at home filled with all the elements required to nourish and nurture your soul. It’s a really simple concept that can have an amazing impact on your life. I try and plan one of these every month. A total switch off and recharge for mind, body and spirit.

Here’s a simple 7 step guide to creating your most awesome Self Love Staycation

1. Schedule some solo time for your staycation.

How long should it be? Go with what feels right—maybe a full weekend, maybe a half day, whatever works for you. But here’s the thing: once you decide, stick to your decision! (This might require you to say no to invites/requests of your time.) This in itself is a great lesson in self-worth. For me, one full day is the perfect amount of time to completely bliss out and recharge.

2. Do whatever you need to do to clear the space.

That could mean shipping the kids and husband away for the weekend, ensuring you’ve cleared your diary, or telling your nearest and dearest that you won’t be available that date. Another important thing is to literally create the space. Make sure wherever you plan to spend your day is clean and tidy. You’ll struggle to feel zen if you have a massive pile of laundry or a sink full of dishes waiting for you.

3. Stock up on the good stuff.

Maybe you’ll want to stock up on veggies for your green juice, a new journal, your favorite bath oils, or soothing candles. It’s important to make sure you have everything you need, but also that you don’t end up spending a zillion bucks. If you spend a ton of money, you’re just giving yourself an excuse not to do it regularly. This needs to be an affordable treat.

4. Don’t go too crazy planning what you’ll actually do.

Leave some space to just be. Ask yourself what your soul vitamins are, and then just see how you feel. It might be that you’ll wind up taking a long bath and reading a book. Or maybe you’ll make juice and do some yoga. Think of it like a room service menu at a lush hotel…. give yourself a heap of options, but then just go with what feels right.

5. Set an intention.

This is your theme for the day. It can be whatever you want it to be. I normally go with a feeling—say, abundance orgratitude and then spend some time contemplating what that means to me. Another idea worth exploring is using your favorite personal development book. Have a notebook on hand, and give yourself the time to really delve into it. You’ll be amazed how much deeper you’ll go when you’ve created a heart centered space with no distractions.

6. Switch off.

Yup, you know it … no phone, no TV, no laptop. This is a sacred time to really invest in your own wellbeing. Checking your phone every 10 minutes will totally kill the vibe. The world will not fall apart because you unplugged, trust me.

7. Shift your mindset.

The last thing to do before you start your staycation is to shift from your head to your heartYou’ll notice when you’re “in” your head space because you’ll have a busy mind, lots of internal chatter and dialogue. Overthinking, analyzing, and worrying are telltale signs of being in your head space, as are terms like should and have to. So, in order to shift into your heart space, (which is an awesome place to be) start your staycation with some form of mindfulness exercise. Again, do whatever feels right for you. Meditation, yoga, tai chi or just some quiet time in nature. The aim is to go from a place of thinking to a place of feeling.

What are you waiting for? Grab your diary and schedule your staycation. Treat this article as your permission slip. You deserve it!

First Quarter Moon Phase: step out, take action, expression

Moon: Pisces

Ruling Mahavidya: Kamala

11/5/2013 AUDIO UPDATE – Kamala

Many times, after a planet has been retrograde and then turns direct again, we have a sort of slingshot effect.  Anything that has been held back or resisted becomes straightforward in clear and measurable ways.  When Mercury is retrograde, our thought processes, beliefs, and mindsets are overhauled and refined/reworked because Mercury affects our minds and how we think.  It’s cognitive.  Mercury retrogrades are confusing and frustrating times, but truly they serve us because we inevitably gain clarity and are able to do things correctly – that is, whatever is in line with our correct course.

Clarity brings certainty.  What do you feel certain about today?  The answer requires us to be honest with ourselves.

If you aren’t certain about anything, you might be before night’s end because Mars has moved to the degree known as “a volcanic eruption” and the energy of this always brings catharsis of various kinds.  It shows us where we are resisting.  The Lotus Goddess Kamala assists us with all of this because she is the goddess who supports and assures.  Her embrace is like a rescue vest.

Kamala is also mistress of kundalini, the serpentine power coiled in our DNA that, when awakened, enlightens us and causes spiritually ecstatic states of being.  Kundalini is vitality.  It helps us align.  During Kamala’s lunar months, kundalini is always activated, either awakening in people for the first time or recharging in people already activated.  The recent X-flares from the Sun (the being the ancients called Sabaoth) are enhancing Kamala’s work with kundalini, supercharging it.

Kundalini rising and volcanic eruptions – now, that’s a day!  But the only explosions we are interested in are the “mind-blowing” types.  We are slingshotting out of the error of our minds – the places where we’ve lead ourselves astray.  We are blowing out the restrictions and limitations that prevent us from seeing that we are deeply immersed in the very body and consciousness of the divine being that created the template for our species.  In the same way as sea travelers in tall tales find themselves inside the belly of a whale, we come to find ourselves living inside a goddess.  Everything around us is her.

Slingshot your mind this way and see if your outlook or your direction changes.  What do you feel certain about today?

The Oracle Report – Daily Energetic Guide During the Return of Wisdom – 10-26-13

Third Quarter Moon Phase: realign, revise, reorient, accept responsibility  /  Moon: Cancer/Leo

The Sun has released three X-class flares in the past 24 hours.  The Sun is located at the degree in the sky that is opposite of the Chiron Point, which I’ve been talking about over the past few days.  You can read those posts in the Archive tab above.

Anytime the Sun releases flares the energy imprint for the day is stronger.  Over the past couple of days the energy has been exceptionally emotional because the Sun moved into Scorpio (a water sign), Neptune is aspected in Pisces (a water sign), and the Moon joined Jupiter and the Black Moon in Cancer (the other water sign).  It was a flood.

The flood subsides Saturday as the Moon enters Leo, which is ruled by the Sun.  Whereas the EMOTIONAL energetic imprint was strengthened by the latest solar flares, the energy now takes on a more ACTIVE tone with the Moon in Leo, a fire sign.  Additional solar flares this weekend will strengthen energy levels.  It’s mind fuel.  There’s also plenty of fuel thrown on the flames of relationships, so keep things in check.

We are going to watch the “wounding and healing” themes subside as the Sun moves off the Chiron Point.   We will take with us wisdom gained from sharing and communicating with others (and facing ourselves in the mirror) over the last few days and consider how to integrate or employ the information.  Third Quarter Moon phase takes everything that has culminated since the New Moon phase (which began on October 4, 2013) and refines it.  It sands and finishes things.

That said, Third Quarter Moon phase is the time to complete things that have lingered – things you don’t want to carry with you into the next lunar month.  Third Quarter phase is effectively the last phase of the month so endings and completion are inherent.  Work this how it suits you best.  The amplified energy of action enables us to truly finish off things.

What else suits you best?  We’re inclined toward these kinds of thoughts this weekend.  It gets narcissitic if carried too far.  But it’s a good question.  It also shows out with the costumes people choose.

As usual, keep your eye toward nature, watchful for synchronicities and sightings in the natural world.  Find beauty and find fun.  Give a nod toward the Sun.

  “Come away, O human child:
To the waters and the wild
With a fairy, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping
  Than you can understand.”

  – William Butler Yeats

Many people stumble and fall when the Darkness comes, and yet the urge to reach out to someone who is suffering always remains. No matter how much pain we go through, like a mother cat pulling her kittens from a burning building, we will sacrifice ourselves for others. It’s called Universal Love, and it’s all around us.

Doing the right thing is one of the strongest desires in life. It’s why many of us came to this bedraggled planet on the edge of the galaxy in the first place: to assist Gaia in getting the lights back on. Sure it’s a challenge, but when times get tough, Spirit gets going.
It may feel like we’re trying to drain the ocean with a sieve, but the few drops we catch is an opportunity to help. Each act of kindness means that the world is a better place, that a forest is protected from devastation, that a local stray finds a free lunch, and that someone who is cutoff, scared, and lonely finds a friend.

Life’s an adventure and some things shouldn’t be missed. The chance to incarnate under a deep, blue sky on an incredibly diverse biosphere is one of them; to be of service to others is another. Besides, who can resist a quick, refreshing dip in the 3D gene pool?

We are a living presence of Light and Love, of The Grand Maker, of All That Is, and everything will work out as long as we hold true to each other. We came here to help and we will not go gently into that good night. Throughout any difficulty, keep in mind that not only can we make a difference, but we are the difference.

~ Mercury Dives into the Deep ~

It’s Samhain! Happy Witch’s New Year!

Normally I’d suggest we get out the balloons, poppers, and party streamers, but I just can’t seem to shake that “something wicked this way comes” feeling. Is it because Mercury is going retrograde on October 21st and the emotional dam is about to burst? Could be, but a lot of other stuff is happening, too.

I always laugh when the Mercury retrograde aspect comes up as so many people seem to run for the hills; few people take into account the sign this tiny planet is in when it happens. We need to understand that significance before panicking and heading to the safety of our EMF-proof bunkers. Also, Mercury reverses direction three, sometimes four, times a year. It’s hardly something to freak out over.

In this case, Mercury will be in the occult sign of Scorpio. It will cause our psychic floodgates to open. Scorpio is all about sex, death, relationships, and the hidden meanings of life. Though all hell can break loose when these things are put into spin, we can navigate these rough waters if we put out Heart first.

This month will be hard on us, especially for empaths, but we’ll be much healthier when it’s over. We simply can’t move on with our lives when we’re dragging around an anchor of pain; or worse, forgotten that we’re being weighted down and think that slogging around in the muck is normal. This Mercury retrograde will give us an opportunity to cut through those chains. In fact, the entire year has been a lesson in healing and letting go of old wounds.

The Sun enters Scorpio a couple of days after that and many things that have been hidden will become visible again. That includes misgivings and other assorted owies that we’ve been avoiding. The entire world is starting to sort out who and what has been holding us back; and even though some folks are ahead of the curve, it’s not a bad idea to review our feelings on things before moving on.

We’ve crossed over into the Age of Aquarius, and our journey has to have soul if it is to have any meaning now. This is why we’re having difficulty sticking with a career or putting any energy into former projects. Long-term relationships are having problems—or have ended altogether—and new ones are struggling to get started. It’s as if a hush has come over the entire planet that keeps us from doing anything but trying to make things better.

The New Age is about everyone; not just us as individuals. People who haven’t figured that out find themselves at an impasse. Again, this is where we can help others who are in a quandary with all the Aquarian energy.

Our troubled planet will come through all the turmoil if folks begin to grasp that it’s about the link we share, and that every person deserves a chance to thrive. We can move this realization along by freely lending a hand.

Do that, and the Universe will take care of the rest.

~ Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf? ~

A few bad omens begin to reveal themselves as the veil thins and we draw near Samhain. As they say, fools rush in where wise men fear to tread, and that certainly applies here. Though, I would change that to “where a wise Witch fears to tread” if it were me. Maybe add in a spooky voice, too.

First off, a retrograde Mercury will line up with Saturn in Scorpio. It will lay down some harsh, emotional restrictions in our lives. This will most likely take the form of breakups now that we are seeing how out of sync some of our close relationships have become. If we head out for a Halloween party with a lover or a good friend, take extra care of each other, or we may end up coming back alone.

Next up, Mars not only trines Pluto but will oppose Chiron. This will have the effect of pointing out all that we no longer need in our lives. Though this can be a very good thing if we need some healing, it can be a real slap in the face if we aren’t ready for it. Again, be careful of saying the wrong thing to the right person over the Halloween celebrations.

The Sun gets in on the act here as it will be conjunct the North Node. It will illuminate any unbalanced, karmic patterns. The Sun trumps all planets, and it’s focus during the last week of October is on what we can let go. It’s tired of carrying around old baggage and will burn away anything it finds too heavy for our Spirit. Ignore that, and we may end up finding ourselves holding onto nothing.

Finally, the Uranus and Pluto square that’s been causing so much wide-eyed, spiritual shock for everyone throughout October will go exact on November 1st, the first day of pagan winter. This is the big one to watch out for this Fall.

Pluto shouldn’t be trifled with at the best of times, but especially when He’s having a cosmic shootout with Uranus the Revolutionary. It’s here that we will find a lot of unrest, and it’d be best to keep our heads down on this day unless anyone wants to get hit with a stray bullet. This square will continue throughout November, finally coming to an end as the Sun passes into Sagittarius.

My advice all during Samhain is to take advantage of the introspective planetary aspects, stay indoors, and appreciate how far we’ve come. Think back to last year at this time; think of all the emotional stuff that came up. The grief, the karmic pain, the memories of loss. Now think about how much freer we are since we faced the ghosts of the past. It’s our Higher Self’s way of showing us what needed to be healed so we’re ready for what’s next.

We’ve done a lot of soul work, and that deserves to be honored. We may not be able to take it to the bank, but, then again, the whole idea of banks is coming to an end, anyway. If we absolutely feel the need to get out and party with our fellow spooks and spirits this Halloween, try and keep it light—unless folks like the idea of skeletons falling out of the closet.

~ Solar Eclipse in Scorpio ~

We will experience an annular eclipse in the wee hours of the morning on November 3rd. A thin ring of light will appear around Mother Moon as if She doesn’t quite have the strength to completely shut out the light of Father Sun. Personal power struggles often ensue with this type of conjunction; and not just with each other, but in the form of an internal clash.

Our minds are not quite in balance and the Moon is reminding us of that. Or, rather, we haven’t been in balance up till now and still need a minor tweak before finding inner harmony. Now that all the new soul upgrades, internal testing, and diagnostics are complete, we’re being given one last chance to check for green lights across the board before blast off. After this, we finally get on with the New Age of Aquarius.

It was necessary for us to go through a lot of adversity in order to understand that we’re not to blame for everything that has gone wrong in the world. The Illuminati have tried—desperately so, lately—to persuade us that we need to fight and claw our way to the top of their pyramid, that “survival of the fittest” was natural.

We’ve been told since birth that if we didn’t make it by the time we’re thirty, we are losers and should get used to serving the needs of those that did. It’s a perverse conditioning for a hierarchical society where one either learns to love neo-feudal living, turn our back on our neighbors, and worship the money-masters, or be considered defective and get medicated.

It turns out that no one was meant to win the rat-race aside from a few satanic rats. Now that the world is waking up from such a painful, impossible dream, it will be easy to fix the real problem. All we need to do is start loving each other again without any need for a pat on the back. Or a cash register.

~ Jupiter Downshifts for a Few ~

The great, big marble floating around our outer solar system takes a break from expanding our Hearts this month. On November 7th, Jupiter will go retrograde until early spring. It signals the end of the Year of the Flood.

That is going to be a welcome relief for those if us who have been inundated with tears. But, before we let the bells ring out and the banners fly, we still need to get through the rest of the month of Scorpio. So, let’s mirror what’s happening in the Heavens by stopping for a cosmic moment and reflecting on our lives.

For one, we’ve learned to be in the moment. That’s a feat and a half as most people have been trained through the Rockefeller school system to be terrified of never having enough. It means we’ve begun to transcend the R-complex in our brains that the Illuminati have spent thousands of years exploiting.

More and more of us are turning our backs on the idea of being wealthy. People want to be comfortable, yes, but not rich; we want to feel safe, of course, but not at the expense of everyone else. In other words, we’ve started to see things from a plural perspective.

Also, we have learned the true meaning of spiritual humility. It turns out is has nothing to do with being afraid of an angry God who will punish us if we don’t do what we’re told—it’s about recognizing that we are a part of something so vast that it leaves us in awe. That’s a far cry from sidestepping lightning bolts and begging for forgiveness.

We’ve also come to understand what compassion is all about, as well. As we expand our personal view, the first thing we notice is that others are coping with the same things we’re going through, and that brings us closer together.

Now that Jupiter is retrograde, we can stop and have a look at these things. All winter long, actually, as Jupiter won’t go direct again until March 6th. That’s plenty of time to meditate on how big our Hearts have become, that we are finding a collective strength, and that this whole, crazy notion of Unity Conscious is becoming a reality.

~ And Now, On with the Show ~

Mercury goes direct on November 10th. It’s a sign that the mystical flood waters are beginning to recede and we can look for dry ground again. A few days later, Neptune goes direct, too.

When Neptune entered Pisces in early 2012, He stirred up psychic powers in everyone. This single aspect has been responsible for the incredible lift we’ve been feeling since the Age of Aquarius began. And, if there’s one thing I kept seeing throughout that summer, it was comments on blogs saying how much lighter folks felt and how in tune they were with the Universe. Though I would hesitate to hang the New Age on a single planet, Neptune moving into it’s home sign of Pisces was truly remarkable timing.

Well, back in June, the Dream Master took some time off from sprinkling our lives with all-purpose pixie dust so we could clean out the karmic pipes. Now that Neptune is starting to move forward, and our subconscious is all squeaky-clean, we can get back to ushering in a new era of Peace, Love, and Understanding. It’s time to come together with our loved ones again and get ready for a wonderful, fun-filled holiday season.

I know this year has been very hard, and many of us are now inside-out, upside-down, and facing the other way, but I promise next month—and next year—is going to be much easier.

I promise.

~ Full Moon in Taurus ~

The Goddess has a special treat in store for us. If we look up to see the Full Moon this month, we’ll see Her passing through the earthy sign of Taurus. On November 17th at 10:16 am Eastern Time, Her Lunar Majesty will herald a return to sanity and better days to come.

It’s hard to tell what’s happening from inside of a transformation, but by this time next year we’ll be amazed at how much we’ve changed. Unfortunately, in order to get to this spiritual point in our lives, we had to go through a serious financial loss. It’s the nature of things: we have to let go of the ways things are to get to where we want to be. And I don’t know a single person who wants things to stay the same, especially in how the economy works.

As a result, we’ve been living without a monetary safety net for almost four years now; for some of us, much, much longer. Though it’s been frightening to live paycheck to paycheck, we’ve learned that we actually don’t need the trappings of modern society. We can find happiness in the simple things. Because of that, we have become more free than we could ever imagine while attached to our possessions.

This Full Moon will focus us on our homes, families, neighbors, and loved ones. I guess that’s no surprise with the holidays coming up, but what may be going unnoticed is that we simply aren’t as concerned about making ends meet anymore. Instead of juggling bills while trying to save hundreds of dollars for expensive Christmas gifts, we’ve started to find other ways of sharing our affection. For example, homemade gifts like crafts, poetry, and preserves.

This is close to where we were in the middle of last century when people not only knew the value of a penny, but understood that love can’t be bought at a shopping mall. Likewise, the Full Moon in Taurus will help us remember that true beauty does not come from a clearance sale, but from within.

~ I Reach Out from the Inside ~

This month, I choose Peter Gabriel’s incredible live performance of ‘In Your Eyes’ to inspire us to be open, creative, and vulnerable. The search for Unity, something we lost ages ago, can be found by reaching out to others during times of crisis. This song expresses that beautifully.

There is great comfort in the warmth of another’s eyes. It reminds us that we are not as alone as we often think. We’ve been through a lot over the last few thousand years, tortured by evil people with evil goals, on a seemingly forgotten, long-lost planet, and yet if we can see the Light in another, we will always find our way back home.

Hardship inspires greatness in us; and when things are at their darkest, people really start to shine. It’s when magick happens. We are naturally gifted when it comes to creating miracles—after all, a miracle is just another way of saying, ‘I love you’.

Blessed Be,

Show Launch episode!

This show introduces the concepts the Repurposing, that of a multifaceted discussion on how you move an entire planetary population from one paradigm to another.

In the first hour we talk to two of the new crew, Hope Girl and Scott Bartle about their awakening process and how it brought them to be so deeply involved in this conversation about building the new paradigm.

The second hour brought Joe and Vanessa Braggs into the conversation. This highly motivated couple have an amazing property on the East Coast or Australia about 2.5 hours south of Sydney. They have committed to creating a new paradigm community on this property, starting now!
