Have you ever laid in bed trying to sleep while a constant stream of thoughts flow through your mind?  Do you perpetually think about random thoughts throughout the day?

Law of Attraction

According to the Law of Attraction, you will receive whatever is predominantly on your mind.  If your mind is producing chaotic, non-random thoughts, then this is what you will attract in your life.

Even in the dream world, your predominate thoughts and worries will be reflected.

Hijacking the introverted mind

We have been indoctrinated into a society that places ego and materialism above everything else, so many people will end up thinking about these things and how they are being perceived by others.  Our self perception has been hijacked by the mainstream media, who portrays fictitious characters leading the make-How To Calm The Overactive Mind | In5D.combelieve lives which many people feel they should be living.

It is estimated that approximately 75% of the population are extroverts and virtually all television programming is geared to reinforce the “all-about-me” persona while deterring people to look within for answers, which is they key trait of an introvert.

Carl Jung defined extraversion as “an attitude type characterized by concentration of interest on the external object”, (the outside world). and introversion as an “attitude-type characterized by orientation in life through subjective psychic contents” (focus on one’s inner psychic activity).

Reinforced irrational thoughts

By allowing the mainstream media to influence our thoughts and perceptions, we are creating irrational thought processes based on completely fictitious ideas, premises and images.

This is why you will NEVER feel good after watching the nightly news, which is mainly fear-based How To Calm The Overactive Mind | In5D.compropaganda designed to keep you living in lower vibrational thought patterns.

Even if you don’t watch the news but still watch your favorite TV programs, the television commercials are equally as bad by showing you groups of extroverts leading the fictitious life the mainstream media is trying to sell you.  Of course, these actors are mostly above average looking which is telling you on a subconscious level, “If I buy this product, then I am beautiful and will have a large group of beautiful friends.”

What these commercials are telling you is that you are not good enough the way you are while reinforcing the overactive mind to understand the differences that never truly existed.

Time is money, money is time

We have all heard the expression, “Time is money.” This is why every word needs to be precisely written and every second is accountable in any given television program.  On a subconscious level, we accept this premise as reality, creating additional cognitive dissonance.  We end up feeling as if every second needs to be accountable and we make up excuses for not finding the “time” to connect with nature or to meditate.

The precept of time is equally as fictitious as the bullshit they’re selling on TV, yet we all buy into “time” and “money”.  What is not being portrayed by the mainstream media are the mundane moments that we all experience.

Much of what the overactive mind is doing is filtering the rational and irrational thoughts, which creates cognitive dissonance.  In other words, you may be subconsciously persuaded to believe in these fictitious How To Calm The Overactive Mind | In5D.comstereotypes portrayed on TV, newspapers, magazines, etc…  while another part of your subconscious mind is telling you the exact opposite.  Your active mind plays out all of these scenarios and your thought processes dictate the internal chaos that will continue to be reinforced as thoughts create reality through the Law of Attraction.

The mainstream media also refuses to show the importance of connecting to nature.  while you will see various nature-related programs, the connection to body, mind, spirit and soul through nature is rarely, if ever, emphasized.

Social anxiety disorders

Sometimes, a social anxiety disorder is the cause of an overactive mind. In this scenario, a person may feel as if he or she is constantly being judged by others.  If you are one of these people, then be assured that when someone judges someone else, they are generally insecure about that of which they are judging you.  In other words, they are detracting attention away from themselves and are projecting it upon you.  This is THEIR issue, not yours!  The best way to handle this is to envision yourself as a mirror that deflects all negative thought patterns from other people and reflects it right back at them. By doing this, you are no longer absorbing the insecurities that they are projecting.

12 Ways To Calm The Overactive Mind

1. Eliminate the clutter

The easiest way is to eliminate the clutter.  What are the themes to your overactive thoughts?  Many of these thoughts are related to money issues and our economic subservience to the system of control. Perhaps it’s time for a change in jobs or to find a job that you truly love to do?  The easiest way to determine this is to ask yourself, “If there was no such thing as money, then what would I be doing with my life?”  After having fun or traveling, you would eventually do something you love to do.  At this point, try to find ways of doing this, even if it means working a job that you hate while doing this new activity on the side. The worst case scenario is that you spent time doing something you love to do and helped to eliminate the clutter from the overactive mind.  The best case scenario is that you will find ways to make an income from it and will be able to quit your present job.

2. Stop watching TV

The television is the biggest form of mind control and plays a large part on what we think and how we perceive life.  In the United States, the entire mainstream media (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, text books, etc…) is owned by 6 corporations, all of which have Zionist connections.  Is it remotely possible that there is an agenda behind their “programming”? Ask yourself this:  During World War II, Precott Bush was arrested for funding both sides of the war, yet we never learned this in school.  Why?  Do you think his son, George H.W. or grandson, George W. would have been elected president if we were taught this in school?

Your entire thought process of who you are, what you should wear, what you listen to, what you eat or drink, etc… is being manipulated through the mainstream media.  Your overactive mind will continue to process, judge, compare and contrast that which you are being sold as “reality” to what is actually real.  If you continue to watch TV, then you will continue to buy into a false sense of reality which, in turn, will reinforce your current thought processes and inability to fall asleep peaceably at night.  Even when you fall asleep, your dreams will be affected by that of which predominates your thought patterns.  Once you learn how to declutter your mind, you will find that your dreams are no longer fear based and at times, will be prophetic.

3. Meditate

One of the biggest excuses that people will give as to why they do not meditate is they don’t have the time.

According the the Bureau of Labor Statistics, “Watching TV was the leisure activity that occupied the most time (2.8 hours per day), accounting for about half of leisure time, on average, for those age 15 and over. Socializing, such as visiting  with friends or attending or hosting social events, was the next most common leisure activity, accounting for nearly three-quarters of an hour per day.”

What this statistic is saying is that people would much rather be programmed by TV than to visit friends and neighbors.  It also says that they would much rather be, literally, programmed than to use that time constructively, meditating.

Another excuse of why people don’t meditate is that they have an overactive mind and have difficulty clearing their predominant thoughts.

There are many different styles of meditation, so one should experiment with as many as possible and either find a method that is conducive to eliminating the clutter or to create one where they are able to find that “inner peace”.

The meditation that I recommend to those with an overactive mind is called an “Open Eye Meditation” where you place two objects approximately 6 feet away from you and each other.  While trying to focus on these objects, your mind will not be able to process any other thoughts.  I also suggest to try this technique for more than 5 minutes, as many people will easily give up too quickly.

4. Remove the ego

Many people will live their entire lives never knowing who they truly are while pretending to be what society expects them to be.  Once again, these irrational thoughts are reinforced by the mainstream media.  Ultimately, we are spiritual beings having a human experience and our bodies are just shells for our souls.  Once you begin to accept this concept, you will then begin to realize how we are all connected.

A good way to learn how to remove the ego is to practice empathy by envisioning how other people may feel.

Through empathy, you will see how our egos help to keep us separated as individuals instead of a collective consciousness.  For example, many people are too detached from worldwide atrocities, such as famine and starvation in third world countries.  They may think to themselves, “If it doesn’t affect me, then it doesn’t exist.”  What if it was YOU who was starving?  Would you want others to know or care or would you prefer to have people say to themselves, “If it doesn’t affect me, then it doesn’t exist.”  The truth is that we are all in this together and if one person is suffering, then we all suffer.

5. Your body is your temple

Diets that are high in sugar and caffeine content may affect your thought processes.  Fluoridated water has been proven to calcify the pineal gland (your 3rd eye).  GMO’s have been proven to cause tumors in laboratory testing of rats. Too much alcohol will generally magnify any issues you are thinking about, so try to avoid excessive alcohol consumption if you have an overactive mind. Avoid stimulants.

Be conscious about what you are eating and drinking because these all play into your vibratory level and will in turn, affect how you think or what you’re thinking about.

Most importantly, listen to your body.  If you are experiencing heartburn, then eat more high alkaline foods instead of taking an antacid.  On your day off, if you are tired, take a nap no matter what time of the day it is.  Your body will always tell you when it is out of synch, so listen to it!

6. Exercise

They say a healthy body is a healthy mind, so if you are physically able to, then find ways to integrate exercise into your daily routine.

7. Escape time

On your day(s) off, learn how to escape time.  In this article, I’ll show you 9 ways on how to do this! Time keeps us locked into the constructs of the “work week” so on your day off, don’t look at your cell phone, don’t watch TV (TV is all scheduled on “time”) and just “wing it” in regard to any activities for that day.  Try  not to place any time constraints on this particular day’s activities.

By escaping time, you are also getting away from the matrix that keeps us all entrapped as economic slaves to the system, so this will help to eliminate the overactive mind’s thought process by giving it one less thing to think about.

The next time you have a week vacation, try listening to your body as to when to go to sleep for the entire week.  If you feel like taking a nap at 3PM, do it!  Stay up as late as you want and go to bed when your body tells you that it is time to sleep.  You’ll find that you will be able to fall asleep easier and much faster when you listen to your body.

8. Have fun!

Start doing things that you truly enjoy to do.  Let your mind focus on fun instead of trivial items that are out of your ability to control.  You’ll find that your thought patterns will change drastically when you are doing things you enjoy.

9. Release the need to control everything

Many people with overactive minds have the need to remain in control of most everything in their lives.  it is very difficult for a controlling person to relinquish control because they might feel that if they do not have control over their circumstances, then they have no control over themselves, which is not true.  Events will come and go whether you control them or not.  All you need to be is responsible for your own actions.  When you begin to start controlling other people, you are creating more things to be concerned about which in turn will feed the overactive mind.

10. Start a journal and/or dream diary

One way to release the constant flow of thoughts is to start a journal or dream diary.  By simply putting it in writing, you can provide yourself with a simple outlet to help eliminate the clutter in your mind.

11. Live in the “now”

The overactive mind is constantly thinking about the past or future.  By living in the now you will be able to release that of which you cannot control.  This doesn’t mean that you instantly become unaware of what has happened or what is about to happen. It is more of a realization that the past cannot change and the future hasn’t occurred, so why waste time thinking about either?

12. Connect with nature

Find the time to connect with nature, whether it’s taking a long walk in the woods or at the beach or where ever brings you inner peace while being immersed in nature.  While in nature, try not to think about “every day life” and simply appreciate what nature provides.  Try listening to the cadence of the wind or from a babbling brook.  What animal or bird sounds do you hear?

The Elephant and the Fly

A disciple and his teacher were walking through the forest. The disciple was disturbed by the fact that his mind was in constant unrest.

He asked his teacher: “Why most people’s minds are restless, and only a few possess a calm mind? What can one do to still the mind?”

The teacher looked at the disciple, smiled and said:

“I will tell you a story. An elephant was standing and picking leaves from a tree. A small fly came, flying and buzzing near his ear. The elephant waved it away with his long ears. Then the fly came again, and the elephant waved it away once more.”

This was repeated several times. Then the elephant asked the fly:

“Why are you so restless and noisy? Why can’t you stay for a while in one place?”

The fly answered: “I am attracted to whatever I see, hear or smell. My five senses, and everything that happens around me, pull me constantly in all directions, and I cannot resist them. What is your secret? How can you stay so calm and still?”

The elephant stopped eating and said:

“My five senses do not rule my attention. I am in control of my attention, and I can direct it wherever I want. This helps me to get immersed in whatever I do, and therefore, keep my mind focused and calm. Now that I am eating, I am completely immersed in eating. In this way, I can enjoy my food and chew it better. I control my attention, and not the other way around, and this helps me stay peaceful.”

Upon hearing these words, the disciple’s eyes opened wide, and a smile appeared on his face. He looked at his teacher and said:

“I understand! My mind will be in constant unrest, if my five senses, and whatever is happening in the world around me are in control of it. On the other hand, if I am in command of my five senses, able to disregard sense impressions, my mind would become calm, and I will be able to disregard its restlessness.”

“Yes, that’s right,” answered the teacher,” The mind is restless and goes wherever the attention is. Control your attention, and you control your mind.”

An overactive mind is a sign of imbalance and can be corrected but one must want to see the change within themselves in order for this to occur.  There is a saying, “As within, so without”.  If your body needs rest, then so does your mind.  If your mind is constantly processing activities, events and possible scenarios, it will resist sleep by continuing this process, despite your body telling you that you are tired. This is why it is so important to listen to your body.

By eliminating the clutter, you will find that in the worst case scenario, you will continue using your overactive mind in a positive way without fear or the need to control others.  You will also have an increased sense of intuition, an easier time falling asleep and your dreams will become more prophetic.

I’m always changing, and I’ve found that the theme of my life changes as time progresses. Right now, my motto is this: “I don’t have to prove anything to anyone.”

Before becoming a Law of Attraction coach and web administrator, I didn’t realize that “proving myself” was a concern of mine that carried much weight.  I’m not sure if I ever would have realized it did if I hadn’t chosen this career path.

I started this website and business because I had developed total and complete faith in the Law of Attraction.  I saw it working in every aspect of my life.  I learned how it worked, and I learned how to make it work for me.

Because of my successes, I wanted to take my passion (teaching) and apply it to this subject. I knew this subject was something I could enjoy teaching. I knew it was something that would make a difference in people’s lives. And it does-I know this for certain.

However, there must have been some latent beliefs about me needing to prove myself.  As I established this business, I suddenly felt the need to prove my ability to attract.

Now, if you want to teach people about the Law of Attraction, there is a temptation to “prove” that you have it mastered. To demonstrate that your life can measure up to society’s standards of what “the good life” looks like. However, taking this route is highly limiting.  Here’s why:

When we worry about proving our attracting skills to others, we become misaligned. Instead of going after the things we truly desire, we start to go after the things we think other people need to see from us in order to take us seriously.

This is an issue, because with the Law of Attraction, you have to have a pure desire in order for your dream come through to fruition.  You have to want something because you want it, not because you think other people will approve of it.

I am growing with the Law of Attraction, and I continue to see it working in my life on an everyday basis. However, at this point, I truly understand I cannot “make” anyone believe that the Law of Attraction works for me. All I can do is live it, and be honest about it, and those who are ready to hear the message will be drawn to it.

I cannot prove it to anyone else.  What drives and motivates me is much greater than the symbols people are often looking for. I’m just not willing to reduce my desires down to these symbols.  I am driven by freedom, passion and love. That is what drives me, and my life is a reflection of these three important factors, regardless of what other people think.

Learning how to use the Law of Attraction isn’t about achieving some state of perfection everyone else agrees with. It’s about following your own path and enjoying the adventure of the unfolding.  It’s about allowing good things to happen to you. It’s NOT about forcing your life to conform to other people’s standards.

In other words, the Law of Attraction works, and I know it works, regardless of how rich, beautiful, successful, healthy, thin or popular I am. I don’t have to “prove” myself in regards to any of these factors.  I may manifest a nice car or a successful business, but this does not mean I am a truly masterful creator. 

What makes me a masterful creator is whether or not I am enjoying my life and doing what I want to do. And I am, no matter what it may look like to anyone else.

There are lots of things I deliberately create that may not seem that impressive to other people.  I like manifesting friendly people. I like manifesting new ideas and clarity.

I like manifesting fun with my friends and family. I like manifesting a good article on my blog.  I like manifesting synchronicity. I like manifesting conversations about creation and the Law of Attraction. I like manifesting my happiness.

These things may not be too impressive to others, but these are the things that make my days joyful and exciting to me.  I don’t want to pretend that it is my success or my money that makes me a masterful creator, because these are just details, and they aren’t really particularly important to me. 

Of course, I like creating financial freedom, but only because it allows me to live my life the way I want it, not because I enjoy money or success on some deep, personal level.

This is an important message for me to share today, because I feel it needs to be said. You have an opportunity to create a joyful life for yourself. You have an opportunity to create wonderful things that have meaning to you.  Whether or not other people agree with your creations or would want them is irrelevant, because they are yours.

I invite you to join me in evaluating your desires creations on a personal level, without considering other people’s opinions.  Are you going after things that really drive you?  Is your life reflective of your joy? This is all that matters.

I’m learning to give my true desires top billing in my life, and I invite you to do the same.  There’s no sense in trying to prove yourself to anyone through your creation, because in the end, other people’s opinions have nothing to do with what really drives you.

Ultimately, there is no competition. There are no winners and losers, and nobody’s passing out prizes at the end for being perfect.  Perfection, after all, is an enigma, and it doesn’t actually exist. We each have a life to live, and we all get to choose how to live it. We each get to do it differently, and we each get to be unique.

Life is a gift that is given to all of us, but to make the most of it we have to be honest about how we really want to live it. This is how we use the Law of Attraction with true success.

2) Believe your soulmate is out there.


Love is there for you.  It’s always been there for you.  You just need to remember the love that you are and once you do, the Universe will deliver to you the perfect soulmate.

Yet again, another year passes and we all think (at least a little bit) about what the new year will bring.  While losing weight, eating healthy, and quitting smoking are all fantastic resolutions to have, there is one thing that you could do that would make ALL of your dreams a reality, and that is to make it your mission to master the Law of Attraction this year.

shutterstock_307917479The universe responds to your thoughts and feelings and brings you exactly what is going on in your mind.  Unfortunately, most people think and feel as a reaction to the things that are already occurring in their realities.

This reactivity often creates a cycle of anger, depression, hostility or anxiety.  For example, you become angry about something, and this causes the universe to deliver to you something else that makes you angry.  Then you get angry again and the cycle repeats.

Wouldn’t it be better if you could find ways to think and feel positively throughout your day so that the universe could bring you more things to be happy about? If you could find a way to think and feel positively regardless of your current reality, you would be able to master the Law of Attraction and a new reality would emerge that contained in it everything that you wanted.

With this in mind, here are seven steps to take this year to ensure that next year your reality is leaps and bounds beyond where you stand today.

1. Drop the “struggle mentality:” Many of us have fed into the belief that in order to be good people we have to work hard and we shutterstock_211403866have to do things we don’t like to do.  If you hold this belief, the universe will continue to send you hard work and struggle.

Instead of hammering away at projects and work you don’t like to do, make it a priority to enjoy life at least a few times a day. 

Make laughter and fun priority. Don’t be afraid to put down something you don’t want to do for a while and do something fun instead.  If you want to have a fun and fulfilling life, you must send the universe a message that you expect fun and excitement!

2. Give thanks daily: Every single day, take a few minutes and run through the things that you are grateful for, and really allow yourself to feel the gratitude for the blessings in your life.  Make a habit of thanking the universe for your blessings to ensure that more of them come your way.

3. Give others the benefit of the doubt: It can be so easy to respond to other peoples’ unkind words and actions with anger.  Do yourself (and them) a favor by giving them the benefit of the doubt.  Maybe she said what she said because she is overwhelmed at work.  Maybe he bumped into you because he’s distracted by some awful news he just got.


This  new outlook will cut the other person a break, but (more importantly) it will make YOU feel better about the situation, and how you feel is extremely important if you want to master the Law of Attraction.

4. Turn off the news (seriously!): The news today is chock-full of everything that has gone wrong in the world.  There’s no sense in subjecting yourself to that kind of negativity.  Cut down on the news, or even better, stop watching it entirely.

5. Commit acts of kindness daily: You get what you give, so give kindness.  Hold the door open for someone, surprise your loved one with a little thoughtful gift, or give compliments and hugs.  Every action has an infinite ripple effect out into the universe, so do your part to radiate kindness and love.

happy_small_talk-713x5286. Move towards what you want rather than away from what you don’t: Make sure that your dominant actions are occurring because you want something to happen, rather than because you are afraid of what might happen.

For example, call your Mom when you want to talk to her, not when you are afraid she will get mad at you for not calling.  Moving because of fear creates more fearful experiences.  Moving because of your dreams makes more dreams happen.  Move mindfully.

7. Meditate: Meditating allows you to clear out emotional stress, sadness and anxiety.  It allows you to focus entirely in the present.  This helps you to calm down and helps you raise your vibration significantly.

Meditating for just 10 minutes a day has the power to center you and align you with the frequency of a Law of Attraction master.

Many – many years ago, when I was running my own business, I ran

into a financial pickle. The rent was due and the next day was

payday for my staff, while my bank account was at zero. I quickly

needed close to about $10,000 to meet payroll and rent.

Since I have been a practitioner of the LoA since 1962 and was at

the end of my wits, I phoned my LoA tutor and asked for advice.

His response was, what were you doing when money was coming in ?

So I told him.

His only response was: START.

I said, you don’t understand, it is 10PM and payday is tomorrow.

He said: START.

Well, the long and short of the story was, I started contacting

people and none was overly receptive at that time of the night. By

midnight, I called it quits…..

To my complete surprise, the next morning people (total strangers !)

started walking through the door and putting money on my desk. By

lunch time I had sold AND COLLECTED more than $11,000, enough to pay

the rent and meet payroll.

This is when I fully grasped that intention is cause.

If you intent for it to happen it will happen, but only if you truly

intent for it to happen. Unless somebody is standing on your brakes

so hard that you can smell the smoke.

Life begins to transform when we are able to catch ourselves the moment our thoughts become feelings. For most of us, we get bad news and our day is ruined. Someone makes a statement in such a way we hear only criticism or judgment, and our sense of serenity is shattered. We’re cut off in traffic and our blood boils.

Life feels out of our control, and we are unaware these shifts were actually created by how we assigned meaning to an external event. However, merely attempting to think a better feeling thought sets us up to create what may be termed spiritual bypass. Learning to balance feelings and thoughts and eliminating the contingency of our happiness coming from external sources is a lifelong process.

Paradox: Ours to Discern

Initially, for many of us, we get caught up in the mental story line, which has created our feeling. We are unaware it is our thoughts, interpretation and attention responsible for our experience. Thus, what led to our initial mood change may go unnoticed. We remain ignorant that we have taken an external event or perhaps an internal thought and latched onto it – assigning meaning and interpretation that took us away from our sense of well-being.

As we develop spiritual awareness and an understanding of how life works, we begin to pay attention to and identify when this happens. Sometimes, we can catch it, and sometimes we do not. However, we can easily get caught into wanting a sense of well-being to always be present. That is why so many of us seek spiritual or personal development guidance in the first place – we want to be happy.


Paradox: Lost in the Illusion

Many of us are so busy reminiscing (good or bad), worrying or tripping along without any idea of how what we are saying, thinking and feeling are all combining to make up the next now. We get lost in the stories we tell. We get lost in the illusion of the past being real or the illusion of the future looking a certain way, so we miss taking control of the moment to choose.

When we can learn to listen to our thoughts, observe our feelings and make more choices, then we get off auto-pilot. Remembering we have a choice in each moment is something we have to come back to over and over again because our thoughts have tremendous power to carry us into their story. Then, we forget we are telling a story, and by that forgetting, we relinquish our control to the story.


Paradox: Writing the Script

Every nuance of the story in our lives involves interpretation. What meaning are we giving to this? When we feel awakened and aware, we remember we are writing the script, and we control the story. But then, when our story is hijacked by reality or through our forgetfulness, we can feel lost or totally forget our power.

You see, our scripts and stories will get hijacked. We will forget we are the author. We will be presented with external circumstances that are not in our screenplay. We may get discouraged or totally lost. In that moment of returning to awareness, we can shift our perspective, assign a meaning that serves us and return our focus and attention to the original creation we want.

We just need to be careful that our original creation – the story board of our life – isn’t dependent on things looking a certain way or being a certain way for us to be happy. Making the choice to be happy right now requires letting go of our attachments. It is the knowing that “yes, we write the scripts,” but no matter what the story line is, we are okay now.

We are indeed creating what comes into our story line by our thoughts and focus, but there is also much that comes in unexpected. We are, after all, surrounded by other people and their story line.


Paradox: Lasting Happiness

Mentally, we may understand that when we have an attachment to what happy looks like, we set ourselves up for potential disappointment. We psychologically know the happiness of getting what we want will be fleeting when our wants are external. Yet, subconsciously, we often continue our search, especially as we delve deeper into spiritual awareness or awakening.

We think there is such a thing as lasting happiness or lasting awareness – that is this ideal for which many of us strive and are still searching. It seems reasonable, and we rationalize that we should be able to hold on to this knowing and the moments of insight when we see things so clearly.

However, the minute we try to maintain it, we are holding on to something. Then, we have attachment. Here is another paradox of living: We cannot be aware in the moment and simultaneously desire to be aware in the moment. If we are judging whether or not we are aware, we’ve just stopped being.

If you want to become a master of the Law of Attraction, it is important that you keep good company.  Our lives become what we think about, talk about and do.  Because you spend a lot of time thinking about your friends, talking to them and doing things with them, your energy vibration will tend to match up pretty closely with theirs.

Therefore, choosing to hang around people who are uplifting and positively minded will greatly benefit you. Their higher vibrations will rub off on you, which makes it easier for you to manifest the life of your dreams.

Some people overlook the connection between the Law of Attraction and friends. Unfortunately, while these people may be able to raise their vibrations while they are away from the crowd, whenever they engage with negative people they unknowingly absorb lower vibrational energy.  This isn’t such a big deal if you only periodically spend time with negative people, but if the bulk of your friends and acquaintances are negatively minded it will lower your vibration significantly.

Here are a few qualities to look for in a friend who can help to raise your vibration.  Even if they don’t know or believe in the Law of Attraction, someone who has all of these characteristics is likely already a master of it:

  1. They speak in the positive: Words are very powerful.  What we say and what we listen to affect our beliefs about the world.  Surrounding yourself with people who believe in the possibilities rather than the impossibilities will help you to believe that you too can do anything.  Spend time with people who say “I can” much more often than they say “I can’t.”
  2. They are supportive: Many people in the world today do not like to see others succeed.  When someone ignores or belittles the achievements of others it is an indication that their vibration is running low.  People with very high vibrations are genuinely happy for the successes of others, because they believe that what’s best for everyone is also what’s best for themselves.  Not only will they make you feel good about your achievements, but they will also teach you to be more compassionate and loving.
  3. They have big dreams: Keeping company with people who shoot for the stars will encourage you to do the same.  The more outlandish or ridiculous the dream, the better-because it means that they have faith in manifesting just about anything.
  4. They are affectionate: Love is a high vibrational emotion.  People who regularly smile, hug and kiss radiate a higher vibrational frequency.  Vibration is contagious, so try to get close to affectionate people.

The friends you spend time with greatly affect your energy vibration.  Make friends with big dreamers who are positive, supportive and affectionate because their energy will help you become a Law of Attraction master.  You are the company you keep!
