LISA RENEE – Time Shift Blog – Mirror Neurons and Empathy – 10-15-17

LISA RENEE

lisa-renee

A mirror neuron is a nerve cell that fires when the person observes an action being performed by another person. The neurons that fire in response to seeing actions taken by someone else’s body are called Mirror Neurons. Thus, it is important to know that while observing the behavior of another, nerve cells or neurons in us, fire similar sets neuronal connections in our body, which mirror those that are firing in the person we are observing. This means that a person watching the behavior of another as the observer is actually carrying out the same pattern of action, via the information being carried in their neural impulses. In the early developmental phases of childhood, mirror neurons develop mirror properties through the child mimicking and imitating the repetitive behavior of their parents and the environment. With some autistic children, the Bio-Neurological Impairment manifests through lower functioning of the mirror neurons.

The disconnection of neural activity to mirror neurons impairs emotional development. This limits the interconnection of shared feelings to occur in human bonding, which removes or limits feelings of Empathy.

self-aware person can contemplate the profound meaning Mirror Neurons have in relationship to increasing shared feelings of Empathy, and conversely, the impact of negative thought patterns that are easily conditioned into the group Mind Control systems on the planet. Through the observation and consistent use of the same repetitive behaviors, such as broadcasting recurring images and repeating the same phrases in language, which set grooves in brain patterns formed by the repetition of neural impulses. The repetitive neural impulses create associations and meanings in the brain that form into Mental Maps. The repeating signals transmitted in the neural impulses of mental maps are formed by groups of people, which then spread to other people through the mere act of observing those same behaviors and actions. If the people involved are unconscious of their reactions and unaware of what they are observing, they absorb the information of those larger collective group signals into their own subconscious mind and form the same mental map. People that are unconscious to larger negative patterns, will mirror the same exact thoughts and behaviors that they have been conditioned to repeat from the environment, while teaching these same patterns to their children.

Holds Sensory Information

However, the Mirror Neurons also function to help us to sense the intentions and feelings behind the actions of other people. Therefore, mirror neurons are the neurological basis for the human capacity to sense and feel deep ranges of emotions, which are also related to feeling empathy and developing higher sensory perception. How do we know when a person’s body language or silence is emitting signals of whether they are calm, happy, sad or angry? How do we feel good vibes or bad vibes when we are walking in a certain demographic location? Mirror neurons hold the sensory information from the consciousness memories that we have gathered and interpreted by continually observing people and things in our environment.

As we gain expanded consciousness through more deeply connecting with our inner spirit, we gain control over the functions of our neurons and the type of information being signaled to the body. Through the process of awakening into deeper self-realization, the person becomes more aware and realizes their state of becoming conscious. Through becoming more conscious of the state of consciousness, the Neurons and Brain begin to change and adapt to the new conditions of the expanding reality. This in turn enhances the brain activity to open up to significant changes that can turn on new Synapses, which can entirely remap the brain. The flexibility of the brain to adaptively rewire itself, producing radical shifts in consciousness, behavior, thought and emotion, is called Neuroplasticity. The agility of consciousness to redirect the neural traffic of the brain affects the strength and action potentials of the neural connections and pathways, and this can totally shift the mental map in the brain. Neural and mental flexibility plays a large role in a person’s ability to activate higher learning, develop higher consciousness, and access memory and sensory functions in the brain. This means that our direct consciousness experiences and spiritual practices do change both the brain’s physical structure (anatomy) and functional organization (physiology), which result in positive changes that lead to greater consciousness freedom. Spiritual practices like mindful Meditation, help to increase Self Awareness through improved brain functioning, as well as, heighten mirror neuron activity while strengthening the nervous system. As with any biological ability, we have to access and use our Mirror Neurons in order for them to multiply, deepening our ability to become conscious.

Consciousness Resonance

Thus, shifting our consciousness changes how the firing of mirror neurons in our own body, relay signals about what is happening in the world around us. We experience these signals, or neural impulses based on the consciousness resonance of the other person, and how that is related to the action or outcome of the event that is observed. This means the neurons can mirror what has meaning or association in the event to that person. The consciousness resonance will interpret the neural impulses as either; harmonious, discordant or neutral signals, which will be interpreted in the physical body with the same energetic resonance. To the degree a person is capable of accurately interpreting their own bodily signals when exposed to harmonious, discordant or neutral energies, is a measurement of that person’s development, and reflects whether they have a reasonable connection to restore healthy functioning to their own nervous system and brain.

Mirror Neurons and neural activity in the living tissue of the human body and brain are directly interconnected with the energetic consciousness, the Soul of that person.

Accordingly, the spiritual-energetic functions of consciousness have direct implications upon all Nerve Cell activity, mirror neurons and the healthy functioning of the entire nervous system and Brain.

Non Empathy in Synthetic Bodies

A consciousness transported into a synthetic body, such as a Biological Drone, does not have the same biological neural networks and brain activity, or the function of mirror neurons. Hence, the types of entities that use Artificial intelligence networks, and project consciousness into synthetic bodies, are unable to experience direct cognition to comprehend ranges of emotion, and are unable to generate feelings of Empathy for other living creatures. Effectively, they are soul-less entities. This is why they are obsessed with Transhumanism and studying the range of genetics within the living tissues of human bodies. Humans have a significant range of emotional states and sensory perceptions they can experience, that these entities find mysterious and cannot generate themselves. Unfortunately, as a result of Bio-Neurological Impairment combined with trauma based Mind Control systems, many humans on the earth at this time are losing their ability to express higher emotions and Empathy. This is the result of soul disconnection, alien hybridization, mind control, violence and trauma impacting both the Consciousness, and the functioning of the neurological system, brain and body. Practicing mindful Meditation and higher emotional behaviors of loving kindness, Compassion and peace, heals the human nervous system, as well as, heals many disorders that had been formed by the past brain patterns.

Empathic Ability of Mirror Neurons

When we can relax into the inner stillness of our being that exists without thought, when we feel safe enough to allow a space inside ourselves to feel deeply, it opens the doorway to empathize with the feelings of other people. When we empathize with other people, when we can feel the emotions of other people, mirror neurons are involved. As these mirror neurons fire in our brains and Aura, it also effects all of the brains and auras of the people in the area. The process of empathizing with the emotions and the feelings of others, and ourselves, is the process to embody the quality of Empathy. Empathy is a function of our soul, and both are embodied together as a part of the Virtues we gain when connecting with our higher consciousness.

When we are present in the moment, aware that we are aware, the empathic ability of our Mirror Neurons to fire in response to the perception of another person, allows us to feel what it is like to be in that persons situation. This is the starting position for developing loving compassion by feeling empathy for others. Compassion and empathy are the cornerstones of love, they are the fabric that interconnects us to all people and things, connects us to all life, and form the foundation for World Humanism. When we are capable of putting ourselves in the other person’s body and imagine what it would feel like to undergo exactly what they are experiencing, we are practicing empathy. How would we feel if this situation was happening to us? The mirror of consciousness is reflected back to us via the mirror neurons, thus we can reflect upon our own sense of identity and emotional patterns through what we feel. We see and feel our own patterns being reflected in both the self, and the other. At this moment of self-realization, when we deeply feel empathy, we have no choice but to experience the other as the self. The sense of separation and isolation that seemed to exist between the experiences of the other self and the now self, falls away.

The more we travel in these neural pathways created in the brain by the Soul, the more we practice self-reflection and empathy, the more mirror neurons we will generate, which shifts our personal Mental Map and potentially, others mental map.

Judging others puts you in a position of superiority that no human being can boast to have achieved. If you exercise empathy in all life situations you meet, you not only allow yourself to judge others, but deny them the much needed support to get out of their circumstances.

*

The first step to helping another is to refuse to empathize with them

*

It is noble to want to place yourself in the shoes of another person, feel their pain and  experience life   from their point of view. This is what is called  empathy — a much needed trait in humanity that has the power to transform the world.

The irony of this trait is that it puts you in a position of judgment. It is involuntary judgment because the heart does not want to view the negative in the character of a person, but the negative in their circumstances.

A good person cannot be without empathy and this is how the world expects all of us to be. If you do not seem to understand what another human being is going through, you are viewed as cold and ruthless.

While empathy is meant to understand all human circumstances in the same way, we find ourselves showing the most empathy to our close friends and relatives.

If you allow yourself to feel empathy for everyone you come into contact with, you set yourself up for a bumpy ride of emotions that accompany every situation.

Empathy becomes more pronounced if you see someone going through a situation that you have found yourself in the past. It may be a situation that has still not been resolved completely and this has the power to bring back a flood of emotions.

If a situation you have been happens to another person, you think that you are better equipped to empathize with them because you have risen past the vibrations of that negative energy.

Judgement in Empathy

Judgment in empathy stems from the fact that you had made judgment of a situation when it happened to you and when it occurs again even if it is in another person, the same judgment will be transferred to them.

The business of judging others is not for human beings and it should be avoided at all costs. Trying to empathize with others not only lowers your emotional strength but also makes you lose your connection to divinity, which could actually be helpful in helping the other person to heal.

The human soul equates empathy to compassion which, in reality, is deciding what another person is feeling and then trying to condition your heart and mind into their same exact state.

The universe has a way of channeling positive energies where there is positive thinking. If both the victim and the empathizer were to fall into a state of lower energies and suffer as a result, then there will be no one to help the other to come out of this state.

Just do it!

Being too compassionate will invariably make you think too much about the problems of those that you want to help, which, in turn, will make you analyze the circumstances that led them to where they are. And, sooner or later, you will find yourself judging them of making the wrong decisions.

Not only that you don’t have the complete picture, but it’s not your business to judge them in the first place.

The only way out of this cycle is to deliberately refuse to be over compassionate, empathetic and judgmental. Don’t think about helping someone too much, just do it.

Bill Nye – Empathy is Crucial for Human Survival – 11-19-15

From The Mind Unleashed, November 18, 2015

Found at:  http://cultureofawareness.com/2015/11/19/bill-nye-empathy-is-crucial-for-human-survival/

Recently a young Norwegian man asked Bill Nye what his perspective was on empathy in human evolution.  Not when it comes to our bodies but how empathy influences us emotionally and socially.  Bill Nye responded by taking an empirical perspective and examined how animals such as bonobos and chimps care for their young or mourn for the passing of their loved ones.

Bill touches on human consciousness and how it may not be as unique as we previously thought since animals demonstrate that they also feel emotions even without the ability to speak.  Science is paving the way for us to better understand both animal and human emotions.

Learning more about empathy and getting in touch with our emotions could have a great impact on society.  We could create beneficial new laws or help someone who needs our help because of empathy.

I read an essay on empathy. It certainly has not been something I set out for in my life as a special interest to cultivate, but the more spiritually evolved I become the more empathetic I become. Empathy requires that we reserve judgment. It was a huge moment for me when I realized I could be very disappointed for a person without being disappointed in a person.

When we recognize the part of us that is spirit/high power/God, it makes it impossible not to see the spirit part in others regardless of how at odds it is with the human part at the time. Humans are so messy. Driven by countless fears and an egoic mind set that insist we be right at all times, we are all, ALL of us very hard to love at times. I guess my own definition for empathy is to be willing to see the spirit trying in someone regardless of their circumstance.

There are different types of empathy and they boil down sometimes to the difference in being “store bought” or “homemade”. The “Store bought” variety can be categorized when you acknowledge struggle of another from a brain/cognitive point of view. The “Homemade” variety is when you live in a state of connection to spirit and gratitude that your spirit is producing it’s own source of Empathy, the emotional, spiritual connection with others.

Both a valid and both are good, but those who find their way to an empathetic state of being by thinking themselves there, will never experience the power of connection with the story of others through the spirit- empathetic awareness. There has long been detailed the people who take musical lessons and learn the fingering and the counting of the notes but never ever are able to convey the emotions of the pieces they play. There is a component to spirit that is lacking in them. Their dedication and study still is hard work that must have acknowledgment but they cannot interpret the passion of the piece the way that others do without trying.

Not everyone has the capacity to feel the plight or passion of others. Being empathetic and compassion is very difficult in the aspect that if you don’t learn how to manage what I believe to be spiritual gifts, they can easily overwhelm you.

Every year I get a little angry at all the people trying to bust the door down of the Mission on 80 trying to serve “Thanksgiving and Christmas” to the unfortunate. If I worked there I would ask them, “would you consider June 3 or August 6th, we have all the compassionate folks we need for Christmas and Thanksgiving”. “Can u still find it important to serve some Parker House Dinner Rolls when it isn’t an act designed by you to make you feel better about yourself while doing the least amount possible”.

That is an example of “Store Bought” empathy. It’s too planned and calculated. Real empathy is only possible for those of us who know that, “What we have is enough”, “Giving you a break” won’t leave me without one, “Recognizing your struggle”, won’t sweep me into it and all of us have monsters two inches from our tails and most of us just no how to disguise the panic better than others.

It’s long been said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and I know personally speaking when I operate from spirit, I have no trouble at all honoring and acknowledging the struggle and pain of others. It is only when my ego and “human” concerns overshadow my gratitude that I forget that judgment is not necessary. I lose nothing, NOTHING by acknowledging your struggle and I gain a connection to spirit that cannot be found any other way.

People want to go immediately to the sick or homeless when they picture struggle. I’ve been aware and lucky enough to have learned to look wherever I am. I know a single mother starting to work full time for the first time in years. She’s frightened and she’s doing it. I know a mother who’s two children are at an age where they clearly see their father can’t stop drinking. I know a teenager who has to go live with relatives he didn’t even know he had in order to stay out of foster care. I know old people who can’t afford their medicine. I know a young girl who just realized she is obese when the kids at school pointed it out. I know several people who work as hard as long as they can and they can’t pay their bills. The stories of the human condition fill the pages and the hours of the history of the world. I haven’t forfeited a thing by having concern for them.

I lose nothing by seeing and validating your struggle. The Ego says I need to fix the struggle but the spirit only asks me to acknowledge

Complex and alternately beautiful laws of God come in to play when I try to explain this inexpiable truth, we are all connected. When I honor your struggle with acknowledgement I honor my own, loving you when you make it very difficult to even like you, I gain my own self acceptance. When I honor the part of God in you, the part of God in me expands exponentially.

Gratitude, empathy and compassion are the three ingredients that give me a good life today. They keep my spirit growing, my human side (ego) in check and they make me feel almost on a daily basis, it’s all worth showing up for.

When I was young I had a Beagle. It’ was a sweet sweet dog without a vicious bone in its body. One day it got hit by a car and my dad rushed out to help it and it tried to bite my dad’s hand off. When we are led by pain and fear, real or imagined, all of us, are very hard to love. Empathy AND Compassion help me look beyond the ugliness of pain and see a spirit in crisis.
