A poem by Nigel David Richey (Contributor for the Culture of Awareness)
Last night I got shoved in a box. From the inside out, to be honest I was at a loss. Using my anger as a weapon of thought. Creating situations that I mostly rather not. Too hot!
My temper, figured it out from an inner child mentor. Once considered him a dementor, but I shared my happy thoughts and unhung them from the cross, only to toss them in a pile labeled “I forgot” like why we celebrate Christmas in December.
Almost a full paged member, the Q nation is waiting but patient not vacant, rearranging our perceptions with each and every DMT hit. I’m lit, like a beacon or light. Trying to find some comfort, some shelter from my personal Dark side of the Night.
I’ve developed sight, too see through personal plights, unleash what Heaven keeps buried underneath, every thought and emotion we’ve been gifted with and teach.
Every other fellow, each secret hello, from one stage to breaking free of cages, Lavender Red, Emerald Greens, Passionate Yellows. Take a dance with chance and consider it all mellow. Take a chance with this dance, I’ll praise each step even in a farewell.
We all have mighty stories to tell. Tales that bridge the gap between our love and hope, the wind that drives the magic of our boats. And forward we continue to float. I won’t boast about feeling good, I won’t mope to the pain of being misunderstood.
I much rather enjoy the rare ness of boyhood, and express myself in a manner of Manhood that carries the sacred ness of wood.
I stood, where I stand to catch you falling and create new plans, I’ll watch where you land, and build castles of Diamonds Gold and Sand to surround you while you sleep, and you awake to Divinitys hands.
I’ll await till you arise and open your eyes, not to a closing door, but a welcome home surprise. I’ll forever be by your side. I’ll forever be where you think I don’t hide
