What Kind of Person Do You Aspire to Be?

As awakened people with aspirations of becoming lightworkers, wayshowers, healers and facilitators of the evolving Homo-Luminous and the 5th dimensional Golden Age we need to ask ourselves some important questions…?

  1. Do I involve myself with the 3-D thinking that seems to rule this world?
  2. Do I set a good example for others’ to follow or do I allow myself to follow the negative actions of others?
  3. Do I speak from the ego [head] rather than a love centered heart?
  4. Do I always think I’m right discounting what others have to say?
  5. Do I preach to people rather than lovingly encourage them?
  6. Do I live in a way that brings honor and respect to the Creator and His creation?
  7. Do I put myself above others?
  8. Do I do what I can to lovingly help heal others?
  9. Do I care more about materialism than I do spirituality?
  10. Do I live my life from a place of fear or love?

Throughout earth’s history we’ve had many great teachers who’ve left us with jewels of wisdom while on our path so as to teach us and set examples for what kind of people we ought to be….not for the gain of it but for no other reason than love. If one of these great teachers’ walked up to us today would they lovingly greet us or lovingly say…”I never knew you.”

Here are a few examples to remind us of what several of our great teachers’ had to share.

The Buddha tells us…

We are what we think.

All that we are arises with our thoughts.

With our thoughts we make the world.

In this world

Hate never yet dispelled hate.

Only love dispels hate.

This is the law,

Ancient and inexhaustible.

There is no fire like passion

No crime like hatred,

No sorrow like separation,

No sickness like hunger,

And no joy like the joy of freedom.

Better than a thousand hollow words

Is one word that brings peace.

Better than a thousand hollow verses

Is one verse that brings peace.

It is better to conquer yourself

Than to win a thousand battles.

Then the victory is yours.

It cannot be taken from you,

Not by angels or by demons,

Heaven or hell.

The Christ tells us…

Matthew 5:43-48  “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,  so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?  You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Matthew 6:24-25  “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.  “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Mark 12:28-30   And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?” Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

John 15:9-17 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.  If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another.

Alan Watts tells us…

“So then, the relationship of self to other is the complete realization that loving yourself is impossible without loving everything defined as other than yourself.”

“So the bodhisattva saves all beings, not by preaching sermons to them, but by showing them that they are delivered, they are liberated, by the act of not being able to stop changing.”

“No work or love will flourish out of guilt, fear, or hollowness of heart, just as no valid plans for the future can be made by those who have no capacity for living now.”

“But I’ll tell you what hermits realize. If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet, you’ll come to understand that you’re connected with everything.”

“Faith is a state of openness or trust.”

“Really, the fundamental, ultimate mystery — the only thing you need to know to understand the deepest metaphysical secrets — is this that for every outside there is an inside and for every inside there is an outside, and although they are different, they go together.”

How did these teachers live their lives? Did they walk the walk or did they just talk?

So, depending on our answers to the questions I’ve put forth can we truly claim to be lightworkers, wayshowers, healers and facilitators of one of the most important times in earth’s history? Are we willing to walk the walk or just talk?

One final question…What kind of person do you aspire to be? 🙂

In Love, Light and Peace…
